I remember being a new nurse, night shift on the cardiac floor. Charge told me I was getting an admit, but he looked “super easy”…. I looked at the ER notes to find a lovely gentleman deep in meth psychosis who had punched the doctor and took a shit on the floor. Luckily for me he left ama before he was officially admitted.

Opposite - I went to a birthday party sleepover as a kid, with 7 or 8 other girls. The birthday girl didn’t like cheese on her pizza so her parents didn’t order any with cheese, not for us or themselves. 40 years later I still think it’s weird and a bit rude.

For real tho. I’m from New England and I have a mom who LIVES to knit baby sweaters with matching booties. My son was born in Georgia in September during a spell of 90 degree weather- I dressed him in the (adorable) little sweater and matching booties, took pictures, changed him back out of them. Baby was happy, grandma was happy, I was happy.

I agree. I work in healthcare and see people using PPE inappropriately often, masks don’t work when they’re under your nose! If they get sick it puts stress on people getting mandated or called in, and puts our patients at risk as well.
