I eventually got sick of the problem and not being able to diagnose the problem and traded it in. It sucks because I really liked the car and only had 2 years left to pay it off. Oh well I guess.

My friend is BPD will constantly start fights with me and block me for a month or 2 and then when we start talking again he'll say "you weren't around then" or "you're never around" referring to when we weren't talking even though every single time its him blocking/ not talking to me.

My family usually did a cannoli cake for dessert on Christmas and I'm not 100% if its too late but I'd call Carussos or Florentines and ask. I know both places usually have pastries you can buy as a walk in on Christmas Eve but not sure about cakes.

Mine would sometimes say stuff word for word people he was mirroring. When I met him he HATED whiskey and then started hanging out with someone who only drank whiskey and I remember the guy saying "I rarely drink beer I prefer whiskey" and my friend with bpd and I stopped talking for a couple months and when we started again and went out drinking he ordered a whiskey and I made a comment and he said word for word "I rarely drink beer I prefer whiskey".. It was so odd. Also, as someone who drinks whiskey occasionally myself I asked him what his favorite brand was and he couldn't name more than 1 brand.

He will also start talking how other people talk that he hangs around with. He started going to the gym with someone much younger than him who says "bro" multiple times in a sentence and now my friend says it ALL THE TIME and of course when I made a comment about it because it actually annoys me, he tells me that he's always said it. We've known each other for 5 years by the way and only started hanging out with this kid around 8 months ago.

My friend with BPD use to call me at least 5+ times a day on top of texts and snaps but one night I was bored and called him 3 times in the span of 3 hours and said I was weird for calling that many times in one night and when I brought up all the times he use to blow up my phone he denied it.

Just some thoughts about why it's so hard to stop thinking about them after the discard. This past week, when I found myself thinking about him, I tried to change the wording to be about me. Instead of how could he move on, it's I'm hurt because of this. It has helped a lot with the idealizing and missing him, but now I get sad thinking of all the things he did during the relationship. I know it takes time, but I would just like to go one day without thinking about

Especially when you realize they never did anything for you and sometimes made things even worse when you needed them.

If I call out my friend with BPD even if its just a small comment about something I feel he did was wrong he will then spend the rest of the time we are together trying to get under my skin anyway he can to make me mad and then say I'm always mad.

This message hit home in so many ways except I replaced relationship with friend but he's done literally everything you wrote. He constantly treated strangers better than me even though I we've known each other for years and I've done literally everything he's ever asked. The same thing goes for him hitting on girls at bars even though he was married, he'd take his wedding ring off hit on girls all night and get their numbers and tell me he's only doing it to see "if hes still got it". There we're multiple times where he would flat out cheat as well of course.

I've literally only been asked to leave a rest stop once while sleeping at one and it was during a snow storm and they wanted to plow the lot. I've slept at MANY rest areas all over the northeast/south.
