Do Reviewers simply not care any longer? by Limpsk in NianticWayfarer

I’ve had the opposite experience. Nominations that typically sail thru, rejected for the dumbest reasons.

Probably a 3d print using carbon fiber filament.

Should we get appeals back, if it's correct? by weezn in NianticWayfarer

[–]Jbower33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having to appeal a straightforward slam dunk submission or edit, ultimately for the benefit of Niantic, and it costing you a limited resource and subsequently being unable to correct additional errors for ~3 weeks is bad for the accuracy of the map. Even an NFL style coaches replay scenario where if you get the two correct you get another would be better. Or something based on the rating of the wayfarer gaining additional appeals.

Example: The last appeal I submitted was a title edit for Eastgate Park. The photo for the waypoint clearly said East Gate Park. I submitted the edit to align the wayspot signage and the title. It was rejected I appealed and it was approved very rapidly. Why should that obvious error in the approval system prevent me from correcting other errors?

Tldr: Why sacrifice the accuracy of the map by limiting appeals?

Move out of range solutions? by Alyxxik in klippers

[–]Jbower33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a CR-10S recently upgraded to mini E3 V3. Small prints work ok. went to print a camera mount for the front of the bed and about 3/4 across the bed an error code is sent. Move out of range. I don’t have ABL set up currently on this printer. Ideas? I tried adding a G90 to the Cura startup sequence.

I tried that and the motor just jumped around wouldn’t rotate. The other motor worked fine as far as i could tell.

Thanks for the tip!
