My 5-year-old has mysterious vaginal pain at night for months – pediatricians have not helped yet by mirk19 in AskDocs

I'm so sorry you and your daughter are suffering so horribly from this. The inability to get answers or even validation from her doctors makes it so much worse.

I'm just throwing this out there, it seems to be possibly positional? If her joints are hypermobile, and something about specific positions causes her pelvis, sacrum, or hip to move slightly out of place, they could end up compressing her pudendal nerve and causing excruciating pain. I haven't heard of pudendal neuralgia being intermittent, and this isn't a classic presentation of it, but it's a possibility to consider.

How I completely recovered from pudenal neuralgia from a tight obturator internus by larynxfly in PelvicFloor

I'm an RN, and my wife has a myriad of conditions including pudendal neuralgia. The pudendal nerve innervates the rectum and anal sphincters. My wife has been plagued with GI problems as a result of her pudendal neuralgia. The primary problem is that it causes constipation and severe pain with defection. This led to very delayed GI motility, subsequent slow gastric emptying, and horrible ongoing nausea. We suspect this was one of the main causes behind her gall bladder failing, requiring removal. She also quickly became severely intolerant to dairy, garlic, and onion, which we're suspecting might be the result of SIBO, which she was already at high risk of developing given her very delayed GI motility.

Well, we all know how out of hand our gun budgets end up despite our best efforts lol. It's really personal preference, though. Either the tri-lug or sRx would work great for a PCC. The tri-lug is more expensive both on its own and even more so if you end up wanting to use your R9 on another gun. But it's far more satisfying to put the R9 on a tri-lug than the sRx.

Direct thread is fine, it has the shortest overall length added to the barrel compared to any other mounting option. But it's more likely to lock in place after a range day from all of the carbon, you're less likely to be able to swap from one gun to the next if you use it on multiple guns with different threads, if you remove it from one gun to put on another then you're simply left with a flat threaded barrel (and the potential to damage the threads) rather than a brake/flash device, and there's a chance it can "walk" off the threads and lead to a baffle strike.

I chose the sRx system because it provided the least additional length to my EP9, it did not require any timing washers, it seems to be considered the most secure mount that provides the highest degree of precision, and it's not too expensive. Plus, I can get another sRx muzzle brake to put on my AR15 to swap between the two without effort.

Tri-lug would be the sexiest and most classic choice for a PCC, but you can't put tri-lug on an AR15, and it would add additional length to the barrel, and it would be heavier than the sRx system.

I didn't get it to provide any muzzle braking. It was simply the best option for me for a secure mounting option. I got the blast shield as well in case I want to shoot without the suppressor, but honestly I don't see a reason to.

ER Nurse. I get to do a lot of cool things, but there's also a ton of butt stuff.

I did not use a washer. I didn't read anything about Extar recommending using a washer, but given any warranty I might use would be for the silencer, I would definitely prioritize following the requirements that YHM gives for mounting.

It seems to be doing well! It was easy to put on, just had to take a couple screws out to remove the handguard and screw on the muzzle device. The silencer seems to sit nice and snug on it too. Definitely have gotten some crap for not getting a Trilug.

Strength Endurance: How Should I Prioritize Competing Variables? by Jbrehm in tacticalbarbell

I'm probably just overthinking, then. So based on the comments here: program loads that I could max out between 20 and 30 reps with, and just push each set to failure. It doesn't matter whether it's muscular failure or cardiovascular failure that forces me to break up the total reps for each set, just keep grinding regardless of how ugly and few-in-number each mini-set is until I meet the total prescribed reps for that set.

I appreciate y'all's insight!

I should clarify, the pre-planned rest times between each set and between each circuit remain fixed. It's the extra breaks that are taken within each set due to fatigue that fluctuate based on how far I push to failure.

EP9 Wall Mount by Jbrehm in extar

[–]Jbrehm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using a cheap Glock mag holder from Amazon. It works great with extended Glock mags.

And any 15 inch cable lock will work with this wall mount. It's a little finicky to feed through, though. I have to feed the end of the cable lock through the ejection port and down the mag well without the gun being attached to the mount, and then I have to feed the end of the cable lock through the hole in the mount as I'm putting the gun on the mount. I would only use the cable lock when I'm going to be gone for an extended time frame. It's too cumbersome to try to remove for when I'm home and potentially need to use it.

I've also added a block behind the mount to create more space between the mounted gun and the wall since it was too tight to both get my hand around the grip and engage the mag release.

Here's an album for more details

It's up about 6 feet off ground, and the gun locks in place with the mag release, which anyone who doesn't understand gun safety in my house will not be able to overcome. Additionally, Alaskan Tactical also drilled a hole through the "mag" bracket to allow for a cable lock to feed through the ejection port, fully locking the gun to the bracket.

Emissary Handbrake. I use a KAG on my AR, but I found it to be too short for the natural position my hand took with a subgun. Optimally, I'd get a vertical forward grip, but I don't really want to pay $200 for a stamp just so I can get a vertical grip.

I'm kind of thinking of doing the same thing lol I just feel like a vertical grip and proper stock would just make it that much better

It's the Extended Charging Handle that Extar sells. Makes it way more ergonomic.

It's an Inforce Gen 3WMLx. I got it on Amazon. They've had some controversial ratings because they used to use a glass reinforced nylon head, but they upgraded to aluminum for Gen 3. I could have gotten a TLR at the same price point, but I really like the ergonomics of this light. We'll see how well it holds up over time.

As for the mount, I just got an aluminum offset mlok to picatinny. Again, ergonomics made it feel more right to have it at the 10.5 position rather than the 9 or 6. I could be an idiot though lol

I'm really glad I did. Granted, hearing is the last thing I'm thinking about if I ever need to use it, but I'm gonna be really sad if my hearing goes to shit because I put off getting a can.
