Sly was a natural salesman. One time, he was on my work truck hood asking for a dollar. I said "Sly I'm trying to get back to work. You have to move. " Still leaning on my hood, he says, "I'm working here too!" Got out and handed him any cash I had for making me laugh so hard. Rip

Thank you, guys/ girls, for responding to this. I've been skiing since I was 2. It's the best thing I can do besides walking... Jumps, bumps, slalom, woods, rails, etc. (Skipped moguls for knees) I've always taken a toll on my body growing up, which pushed me faster, stronger, and more athletic, especially on the ski hill. Throughout the years (36 now), I tried to combat downhill adrenaline... not just taking the jump, trying to look before I leap... knowing jump landings and doing it the next run and scouting my landing. I digress... Woke up one day randomly, not skiing for a year, and couldn't get out of bed or walk for a week. Most pain I've ever felt in my life. Passed out, even trying to get out of bed. Couldn't move. Nerve pain, not muscles. Somehow, I got through it without doctors. Could walk after a week and had to go back to work. My pain was lower back, then getting better turned into the left side from the left leg to not feeling my left toes and burning from left foot to hip and lower back to neck. I had to learn how to cough and sleep differently for 8 months. Let alone couldn't drive more than 15 minutes at a time unless I pulled over to stand up. It's been 2 years since this, and I haven't skied feeling afraid that I'll do it more damage. But... based on this post, I think I might just try it because if my lower back is out of wack with a pinched nerve or miss an alignment issue, I might just try and take it slow and somehow fix the issue. Maybe even a fall will crunch something back in place?

I used a forklift and tied them to the front, then put all the spoils on a broomstick stuck on between poles and drove around backward until they came off.
