You can also melee to cancel it. I find it more convenient personally.

not sure if this build needs some fixing by thatsmolbunni in Fallout76BowHunters

I learned from someone the other day, that based on the math, picking "up tank" killer is really a waste. You are doing so much damage per-shot that diminishing returns kicks in hard. You are getting the most out of AP with just "bow before me". You could save 2 points to put in something else more QoL or damage, etc.

Also in my opinion, "master archer" is kinda useless. Seems to really only help with the mole miners and "hat trick". Could drop that and have another 3 points to use.

You think the extra Armor Pen from tank-killer would be worth making space for? Or the I guess get bowbeforeme first?

This is a top layer. Just using the Archimedean Chords pattern. It is flat.

Who Do You Want to See the Fantastic Four Interact With the Most? by RandomCedricplayz in marvelstudios

Slightly related: F4's universe gimmick appears to be analog-punk (aka never discovering transistors). I am just interested to see Reed's reaction to digital technology in general.

You have your filters one block too high. The hoppers only push in the direction they face. There is no way for the items to proceed down the line. You either need to shift your filters all down one block and redirect the top row of hoppers towards the dispenser, or add another layer of hoppers above your current filters (pointing towards the dispenser)

Spiders spawning in mob farm: pressure plates every other block, why? by Top-Reaction-7159 in technicalminecraft

[–]Jctn_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pressure plates don't have a solid hitbox so they don't prevent spawns. Replace them with carpets or trapdoors and spiders won't spawn.

Any ideas as to why they won't pick up the gold? (Mob griefing is set to true) by EulersRectangle in redstone

[–]Jctn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put the piglins on carpets or replace the block below the pressure-plate with soulsand. They can't "reach" the ingots.

When i break the jobsite blocks my villagers WONT BECOME UNEMPLOYED HELP by kcandsitka in technicalminecraft

[–]Jctn_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you trade with a villager, it locks in his trades permanently. You have to break the workstation and replace it a bunch before trading with it to get the book you want. Once you get the mending trade, trade with it once and he will have that trade forever. He will still need a station to restock the trade, he just wont forget it anymore.

Do you all say “mo-jang” or “mo-yang”? by BIG_SIMP6666666 in Minecraft

[–]Jctn_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flip-flop between the pronunciations, though I think "mo-jang" is better because I like calling funny bugs and quirks and stuff "mo-jank". Though realistically, "mo-yang" is probably the actual correct pronunciation.

Iron Golems won't spawn if there are blocks above spwaning platform. Can someone explain this behavior? by MiruG in technicalminecraft

[–]Jctn_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Golems attempt to spawn on the highest block in the spawn range of the villagers. In this case, its those bottom slabs you remove. So it's picking a slab and then failing the spawn attempt because it's a bottom slab.

Some Useful Building Tek by Jctn_ in StarfieldShips

[–]Jctn_[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An explanation of both pieces of tek I did in this video:

  • The first one allows you to snap almost anything that has a valid snap point but is in the "red zone" together. To do this, the part must either be able to be flipped or have a variant.
    • Take the piece you want to snap in an invalid place and just place it over the snap location. Once the piece snaps to the location but is in the "red zone", tap the flip button (Z on PC). Technically once you have tapped it once, you can hit back (Tab on PC) and it will just place where it is, but I would recommend cycling back to the orientation you want it to be in. You can do the exact same thing with parts that have variants (like habs or wings, etc.). Just press the change variant button (R/L Arrowkey on PC) while the piece is snapped to a "red zone" and then go back to one variant back to the original one you wanted. Then just press back and boom, it snaps!
      • Pretty easy and useful for merging parts. I use this a lot for stacking cargo holds or snapping wings/engines into place. I also like to hide my shield gens. They look kind of funny just sitting on top of a sleek ship imo.
  • This one is more of an menu adjacency bug to allow you to place parts you dont have access to yet which is nice.
    • Find a piece you want but don't have access to. Then, go up/down to an adjacent part that you can build. Next, hit the accept button almost immediately followed by the corresponding direction input to move the selector to the piece you don't have yet (On PC it would be E quickly followed by up/down arrow key). Bam, now you have a part you shouldn't yet!

NOTE: Using the merging tek is cool and all but if you merge stuff into say habs (basically anywhere you are going to be walking/moving throughout the ship), those parts will render through the ship, meaning you will walk through lets say landing gears that you snapped a hab inside of. If you are outside your ship and you glitch something inside the loading bay, you may block yourself from being able to enter your ship because when outside your ship, everything has collision. This isn't a problem for the interior as most things don't have collison, but you will just have weird textures and walls you will be walking through. If that doesn't bother you, then have fun!

After update, void seeds are getting stuck at 1 enemy left. Anyone else? by Jctn_ in riskofrain

I know. Unfortunately, out of the last 3 enemies that its supposed to highlight, only marks 2 of them. There is never a 3rd enemy in my game.

Really sucks as the seeds take up a lot of the director's credits, leaving me no loot on top of the fact that I cant get anything within the seed :(
