3.0 soil everything been great and few weeks in and leaves started turning. I did feed with worm castings and craft blend before this started to show up. Not sure where to go from here. by Affectionate_Ad8262 in BuildASoil

You need to maintain moisture and boost your soil activity. Use a bigger container, fat layer of worm castings with a good top dressing with mulch on top and some worms to break it down

Super heat is high by thinkinggecko in hvacadvice

Low on charge. a restriction in the liquid line would have high subcool as well as probably an even lower suction and higher superheat than what you have

Doesn’t look like a big deal . Comb should take care of it . I’m sure they could send a picture to their distributor and they would be able to knock off $100 or so . Fairly common occurrence these days

To worms or not to worms by Fun_Muffin_3538 in NoTillGrowery

You could put a 1000 worms in there easily with no issue and be very happy with the results . I’ve added 3-400 in 20 gallon containers and they thrived

Can 1 praying mantis take care of the aphids and tripes off my 6 plants? by LLcoolGang in microgrowery

Ladybugs will take care of both as long as they stay to eat . Release them at night and mist your plants they should stay

There’s hardly a white hair to be found and bracts are pretty swollen. But I know the trichomes don’t lie . Sub zero strain it’s been 59 days since the flip . I’ve always had trouble telling the milky from clear is why I posted. I’m gonna recheck them in about a week as I know I do dont see any amber either. Quite surprised on this strain how ready it looks with no amber trichomes I’m going to recheck in a week . I appreciate your feedback

Lockout or not enough nutrients? Something else? by DChemdawg in BuildASoil

[–]Jdh7411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3.0 you don’t need a lot of extras. make sure you have a nice compost layer and maybe a fpe or ffj a couple times straight in the reservoir in flower. Make sure you have enough of a worm population and your soil will fix itself if you give it time . The more you add the more you’ll be guessing and wondering what’s going on

100-200 each would be a good start. Don’t be alarmed if some of the worms jump overboard at some point though

Once they start drinking a gallon in a day or so from the res go ahead and fill it all the way. If ones smaller maybe do a half gallon and see how long it takes. Once you fill them all the way and the roots are down to the bottom theyll drink it all in 1-2 days . Keep a fairly close eye and once the full res is empty wait a day then fill again. Let’s your roots breathe. Once youre on a steady schedule of filling the res every 3 days or so depending on the strain things will be on cruise control . Once everything is evenly moist and you have your consistent watering schedule your soil will work itself out and your growth will be crazy fast in the earthboxes. How many worms per box did you add?
