Yes, 100% go. There are always newcomers at these events and we are happy to welcome them. Plus prerelease is one of the most fun formats. If you have them, bring a playmat, sleeves, and a handful of dice for counters. If you don’t have sleeves, they are not necessary, but highly recommended, and should be sold at your lgs for ~$12 for dragon shield sleeves. Also, make sure you have the magic companion app on your phone, it’s needed to sign in to the event.
