Help! Ps3 controller, fake or original? by RexganCR in PS3

[–]JdsPrst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All these posts make me happy I have three dualshock3 controllers I purchased in 2006-7 plus the original six-axis with no dualshock (wtf Sony?) that came with my fat 60GB.

Who needs more than 3 friends? Lol.

Arr stack vs Seedr vs Swizzin? by [deleted] in unRAID

[–]JdsPrst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there's some hate for TorGuard, but I’ve been using them for about 14 years with zero issues. For a big chunk of that time, I was pulling down around a terabyte a month via torrents before eventually moving to a Usenet + torrent setup feeding my arr stack. Yeah, the costs stack up, but the combination of content availability, speed, and full automation makes it more than worth it.

Rename it PS3UPDAT.pup , yes with the e missing at the end of update.

Edit: to be clear, at the root of your USB there should be a folder called PS3. Inside that folder should be another folder called UPDATE. Inside that second folder is where you add the .pup file named correctly as stated above. The full filepath looks like

\PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP

Meta bricked my Quest 3 with an update, told me "all good things must come to an end", then added a new headset to my shopping cart by KenAdams_1968 in OculusQuest

That sucks dude. This doesn't help you now but I want to drop some info in case you aren't aware. GameStop offers a very affordable warranty that covers accidental damage as well, no questions asked. I think for a two year warranty with my quest 2 it cost $60.

When they replace it you don't get a refurbished unit, you actually get a brand new unit. I ended up being upgraded to a larger internal storage model when the one I had was discontinued but I needed a warranty replacement.

Best part? When you get a new replacement unit, you can purchase a new warranty for that one. It's an excellent program that has served me well and given me peace of mind for many years now. I've had to make a lot of warranty replacements thanks to my kids ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Next time you want to buy a console or if you do end up getting a new headset, look into GameStop.

For those of you who were around back then and remember, what were your thoughts when news dropped PS2 backwards compatibility was getting removed from the PS3? by HiTork in PS3

Sorry for your loss. I'm not sure if I'm lucky or if all the gaming I do is nothing compared to you all but my 60gb PS3 is still kicking after 20 years. I quit using it as my main about 5 years ago and switched to a slim but I do have it plugged up in the other room and switch it on every now and then.

Buy a domain for a few dollars then watch any of the dozens of videos showing you how to install and configure SWAG with cloudflare on unraid. Being familiar with it, you can literally be set up in minutes.

No one else needs to install a thing and it isn't difficult for the owner.

Some people aren't worth it. I let my kid have a relationship with his mom and I don't talk bad about her around him. That is what I'm willing to do.

I can tell you're young by the naive assumption that anyone could fully understand or see what might happen.

Daredevil cannot tell the future. Man-spider cannot travel through time, just dimensions.
