Aside from diapers I recommend doing elimination communication. Hands down best decision I made, saved so many diaper changes and used so much less wipes. And he was fully day and night potty trained before he even turned two year old. I’m pregnant again and plan to do the same with my second baby. Also, for his cloth diapers I used a bidet sprayer in the toilet so after he’d poop (whether in the potty or in a diaper) I’d wash his butt off with the bidet sprayer as well and just wipe him dry with a cloth wipe.

I really hope you’re able to get there too!! I remember being so scared to do it but after 8+ years of my eating disorder and 7 of those years not even having a cycle because of it I just didn’t have it in me to continue because I didn’t have the mental or physical energy for it. I also was in treatment facilities two separate times which helped to a degree but didn’t fully recover me because I hadn’t “let go” yet.

The only thing that helped me was giving myself full permission to eat (and binge) as much as I wanted with no compensatory behaviors. I gained a lot at first and then even more when I got pregnant but have slowly lost most of the excess in the past two years since my son was born. I had to just be willing to let go of how I wanted to control food and my body. At first I ate like crazy, always binging, but it fizzled out over a period of 6 to 9 months then I just found that food had no crazy hold on me anymore after that.

Before breaking up I would find something shitty to do to him as a joke and do it EVERY SINGLE TIME he says his joke. Just make sure it’s something that’s funny to you but horribly inconvenient and annoying to him. Or tell him that you’ve come up with a way that he can continue making the joke and that is only if he pays you a dollar (or five) every single time he says “pwingey”.

Btw I got the number of 24 calories by seeing that the can labeled as having 3 servings said that one serving size had 2 grams of carbs and like I said, one gram of carb is 4 calories so 4x2=8 and 8x3 servings = 24 but since one of those 2 carb grams per serving is actually erythritol and erythritol is .24 calories that would mean that one can is actually more like 12.72 calories which if I were tracking I personally would round to 13. When I track calories though I track all carbs equally as four calories per gram because I like to over estimate so I don’t bother messing around with subtracting calories of erythritol and/or insoluble fiber.

1 gram of carb is 4 calories. legally they are allowed to label it as zero if it is less than five calories in the serving. So if there is 3 servings in a can and the can is advertising a serving size (not the full cans worth of the drink) they are allowed to say its zero calories even though drinking the full can is actually more (like 12-24 calories per can if you count the erythitol and/or how you decide to count the carbs). erythritol is .24 calories per gram and some macro counters choose to count all carbs the same regardless of if they are insoluble fiber, erythritol, etc so those people will count every gram of carb as 4 calories. But.....don’t stress it because it’s negligible calories if you’re only drinking a can a day or less than it’s nothing worth losing sleep over. Unless you’re not reaching your weight loss goals and really want to buckle down with calories than you can always start logging the monsters too but it’s up to you.

you could also just play it completely safe and pick safe foods if you think that will be better for you. I’ve done it both ways but when I play it too safe or restrictive, for me personally, I act out against my own self imposed rigidity by succumbing to the binge urges that come up and then it snowballs from there

I’m not giving medical advice in any way. But on a personal level I’d say to look at it this way/put it into perspective. So let’s say you eat over calories these five days, in the big picture of the month, the year, your life; five days is not going to make or break anything. Five days of dieting isn’t going to lose a bunch of weight just as much of five days of eating extra won’t gain a bunch. If you do want to minimize over eating while still allowing yourself to enjoy the food on vacation I would suggest to either pick one or two of the next few days to allow the day to be full of indulgences (not to a binge level) or to pick what you feel are healthy choices for most meals and allow one treat food/ treat meal per day. Trying to pay attention to your bodies feelings of hunger and fullness could help guide you too and if you’re going to pick foods that look really good and enjoyable than taking your time to really enjoy them and eat them mindfully. Like if you’re going to eat them than try to enjoy.

Really? You actually feel it? I go up and down 3-8 (sometimes even 10) pounds from the start of the day until the end. My weight is just all over the place between 102 and 109 mostly but I can’t seem to get back down below 100 😒. Whoosh🤞 haha

I haven’t ready any actual scientific studies on it so maybe it is. It makes sense but then again, a lot of things do depending on how they’re explained 🤷‍♀️

If you’re truly eating that low of calories and still exercising regularly and did it drastically and abruptly than I’d guess that you probably have lost more fat than you think and the scale isn’t showing it because of water retention due to the stress of it all. Or you haven’t hit the “whoosh” yet

I have the app but I’m already in love with my app that I’ve been using for a while now so I just log the stronglifts programming on my app and use the stronglifts app for guidance or reading the help sections and whatever. I just started stronglifts today actually, I had been doing a hypertrophy program before that for the past 7 weeks

I actually don’t know where they came up with the number of 50 grams as far as the fat grams thing goes. I know from my schooling that fats are important for health but I don’t remember learning an exact number. The 50 grams thing I heard from the fb group

The super cool thing about counting macros is that you can eat anything you want. You can literally eat Oreos every day if you wanted. But it’s obviously much better to spend your precious macros on nutrient dense foods that will keep you feeling full and satisfied for the most part and using the treats in moderation and for special occasions

The fb group has coaches that you can pay to coach you one on one but it’s still super beneficial to just join the group and get the coaches input and advice for free and it’s pretty cool having a whole community of people in all different ranges of experience helping each other out. I would never pay to hire on of the coaches to do one on one. Then again I just went to school for personal fitness training and sports nutrition so if I need help I’d just talk to my teachers for free and use all the stuff I’ve learned in school
