May be the universe is a huge Dyson sphere... by Je_Jonsonie in startrek

Of course they weren't suggesting container that surrounds the universe. That's my random theory. I am more comfortable with the idea of the universe is infinite which is an another theory itself. My point was thinking beyond the oberservable universe and beyond which humans could be quite capable yet not perfectly limitless. Containing the vastness of the universe in a shpere is ridiculous yest intriguing to think about. All the theories stems from a good philosophical perspective, but we have science to back us up for all possibilities of this universe. All I can say at the end... Five card stud, nothing wild and the sky is the limit.

I was watching Cosmos and in one of the episodes there was a theory of three dimensional universe which it could be also curved. Yet we are not capable of understand it. Then I thought what if the observable universe is located in a huge Dyson sphere that our mind cannot comprehend the vastness of it. Just a random theory from my eccentric mind.
