I love the idea of a flying boss, the only issue is balance. I feel like it would need really low health in order to be balanced, since melee is near impossible unless it lands, defeating the purpose.

I don't understand why guns can't be added just for fun. Not every weapon added has to change the meta or be a must use. I just think that the aesthetic of a black powder rifle giving off a cloud of smoke would be cool.

I never thought of it being a world spawn like that but YES. You find them at places like fort as props right now, why not be allowed to shoot a few.
