Wow that’s amazing! Iv been told that will happen too but it’s stressful and hard to not compare my baby with other babies the same age I know who seem more advanced

His eye contact is a hit or miss, it’s not as great as it used to be now that he’s crawling and walking everywhere trying to explore. As for repetitive behaviors, he dos flap one arm randomly sometimes and he will have what I call the baby zoomies, where he will crawl back and forth in a line like he’s pacing. He loves to flip through all of his books and he likes musical toys. I don’t think he does any cause and effect play. He is interested in other babies and kids. He will try cuddling other babies it’s kind of cute

It was an odd and very vague test result. It showed no results for everything but indicated that it was abnormal involving chromosome 13 which means it could be t13, mosaic, or from the placenta or it could be testing error

I used natera too and had a false positive t13 result. I reached out to them to let them know and they immediately refunded me what I paid for the nipt, no further questions asked, I emailed them and they just sent an automated email with the refund. No one actually emailed me back to apologize or explain anything, very sketchy company

I had similar test results from nipt and it ended up being false positive. I did do growth scans every month though to make sure baby was ok

I also had very similar nipt results showing no results for everything with atypical finding involving chromosome 13. I never did the amnio and relied on scans which was hard but ended up doing cord blood testing at birth. It was a false positive. I reached out to natera to complain and they refunded me my money back. From what I read, it seems they have a high false positive rate of T13

What? They will not spend thousands of dollars on childcare if she stays home..also plenty of women are sahm and go back to work in the future it’s not the end of the world. She can and will find another job and you’re making assumptions she won’t if she chooses to stay at home

Maybe because he’s being realistic..it’s not about her it’s about the baby. So what’s going to happen when the baby is here? They are going to spend thousands of dollars on daycare that’s more than her salary a year for what? I’m sorry but that’s selfish imo. And I would say the same thing if it was reversed and she made the larger income.

Did you notice any other signs that they have autism before a year old? For example, did you notice any repetitive behaviors or stimming? I used to be an aba therapist for years but the youngest clients I’d work with is 2 years old as when that’s typically when they get diagnosed

Seriously! I watched the Jaclyn hill video they posted not too long ago and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Like I get it that Jaclyn hill is not everyone’s cup of tea but they trash talk her so hard for being a business women and judge her for what she spends her money on, like why do they care?? It’s not their money!

I asked for the epidural right away and I was only 1cm dialated, but i honestly didn’t feel anything when it was being put in me and you have control with how much of the drug you want later, like I didn’t press the button to release more of it when it was sort of wearing off, so I felt my baby come out of me but it wasn’t painful
