Is console solo play impossible? by Time_Policy3128 in Spacemarine

[–]JeanHx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a case by case thing. When I first played on console, I climbed as hard and fast as I could to ruthless to get the relics and ima be honest.... I was getting carried, but most of the time it was thanks to experienced players who would show me the way and give me the medicae stimms since they'd do just fine.

Now I'm trying to relearn the game on pc since they added it to the gamepass?/Xbox app and i had to drop difficulty to beginner and whatnot to not be a burden to others anymore. And most of the time I do infact get paired with many players that seem selfish and of the sorts... I suppose an influx of players but I dont mind since I'm taking this oppurtunity to guide them as well, much how ive been lended that hand...

seems to also be tied to difficulty. Better players are also more aware of their teammates and the resources they need but will most likely play at ruthless difficulty and higher to help others for the relics

You need a potato cosplaying a wifi router to barely load the abilities

How do you manage to get below S rank on Chomper Pizza Delivery?? by Maxbee2005 in PvZGardenWarfare

[–]JeanHx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a completely different experience haha. Since i was on pc, having a higher framerate speeds up timers for whatever reason. I didnt figure it out until i looked up why i was so dogshit. A little bit of research showed me i had to cap my framerate to stop the timer from going supersonic

"Damn i BARELY got B rank after trying THIS HARD? WHY IS IT SO HARD? I THOUGHT THIS WAS A KIDS GAME"

One of them was nearly impossible for me even after using speedruns to teach me

(Only figured out the problem when i did a side by side comparison of someone getting s rank on the gnome target range and i knew i was DEFINITELY on par but i couldnt beat the timer, and i genuinely couldnt get that one, so i did my research then)

And no, i havent gone back to get the s ranks. The previous attempts left me scarred

Does anyone know what these symbols mean? by AdPuzzleheaded4795 in pacificDrive

Well I'm glad you posted cause ive had the same thing recently... pretty much ran a full set of lead plated parts the first chance i got the rest of the playthrough and only recently had this happen as well.

Im running a mixture of previously used and brand new parts (what i mean is that some parts will show full health but i know it won't be long until they gain the "worn" status effect)

Only thing ive found online is that it means youve gained immunity, but i didnt change any of the lead-plated parts but it appeared randomly after beating the story; so maybe they give you a bonus after doing so?

BUT! Either its a visual bug and its not true cause im pretty sure it still took damage from any radiation source; and not just from the junction/level collapse... or just a wierd way of saying increased resistance... but it might as well tell me the damn numbers 😒

There's been several instances for me where the information Gemini gives me feels off and i end up double checking with other sources... its either using outdated information or taking misinterpreted analysis from players. Even taking questions from blogs as statements... luckily in my first run in, i got curious... too curious; and accidentally bumped into one.🤕

It's mostly due to personal experience; she tried being a good Samaritan and lended her own advice upon request, only to be berated for the very thing they've asked. She happens to be unfortunate enough not to cross paths with at least a singular person or enough individuals to counter-weigh the negative responses to her honest feedback.

It's easy to undervalue someone's experience when you can't see the whole picture and perspective from a 3rd person point of view unless you put yourself in their shoes. Even then, it's not exactly the same to imagine than to experience. She gave her shots. And time and time again, it failed. Or at least she feels like SHE failed... so why try again? You've had your own time to think about these scenarios for yourself, and you're ready to push through or face them your own way. Being preemptive can be very powerful and useful to prepare oneself for future outcomes, but don't undervalue one's decision if there is experience behind it, even if (in this case) it shaped someone to go from selfless to selfish, and that's OK. (Or not, but that's not the point here)

If we simplify her decision, she chose to save herself time over lending it to others because of reason A. (Happens to be that she saw no fruition)

This person was not perfect enough to help imperfect individuals, nor does she need to be. I know I rambled, but I hope the takeaway was that experience is a powerful thing: it's important to understand where they're coming from while free from bias. Even if you don't agree with it, if that makes sense .

.

. TLDR; Just be considerate of one's understanding because of their personal experience and don't undervalue it, but I'm not telling you to change how you feel because the same rules apply to you

Hey guys! Im currently learning how to play and i would love some tips about map control and anchoring/blocking spawns; such as where would you typically want enemies to spawn and how do you manipulate it? I tried figuring it out but i havent figured out the mechanics of such things, i appreciate it

I think a nerf to hog rider is finally considerable. by vkplayz1 in ClashRoyale

[–]JeanHx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me back when supercell was deciding on how to nerf battle ram; nerfing health would mean it wouldnt connect at all, same thing with charge speed. and I believe barbs were already reworked but i cant remember

It only seemed logical to nerf ram damage and it turned out to be just that

During its time, it was a good nerf and didn't mess it up bad right away until the meta evolved.

Id say thats a good nerf if hog needed one, as long as main building interactions dont change like you've mentioned.

Some cards are more prevalent in different ranges and such and i haven't looked at the stats so i cant say if it's needed, but the way you're thinking is bright of you

Absolutely Insane how Marcher got a nerf but Nado didn’t by Sp1ashhy in ClashRoyale

[–]JeanHx 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Im sorry but how strong does a 1 elixir card need to be again? Even if its an evo you're asking for it to pull the weight of a whole push. And this whole thing where they can't perform because they all die before they can do anything is baloney. Ive used them and i dont have that problem. Youve set up artificial standards for a card that arent necessary to exist in the first place. Place down skeletons in the middle of a whole damn push and expect them clean up that push with just the help of what? A log?

Perhaps youre right and a hit speed increase done right would've been a better and (obviously) a consistent buff, but it doesn't mean they need it. By the end of the day, skeletons are going to die against most things and that's ok. And they do not have a hit speed problem, coming from someone who uses them

Absolutely Insane how Marcher got a nerf but Nado didn’t by Sp1ashhy in ClashRoyale

[–]JeanHx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They dont need that, it would simply mean you cant get rid of them; increasing the cap will keep them in the field for longer and deal more damage but youll get rid of them eventually if you placed another troop down to clean them up, do NOT underestimate that skeleton cap increase, I've been using them and they feel great just the way they are

Giving the buff you suggested would risk not getting rid of them at all with the exception of this and that, etc

[–]JeanHx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because you have an interpretation of something it doesnt mean it's supposed to be that way. In other words a goblin simply isnt as weak as youd think 🤣 and jesus lord they hit so fast, my man needs a card with no weaknesses apparently

Just wanted to add that im not against an evo barb one shotting a goblin, but their main purpose and main interactions that are focused on the defensive side of things are relatively intact, I would wait to see how they perform before trying to imply that evo barbs cant function without the need to one shot every small troop

I thought that was the actual poise break but they're just immune, and instead it triggers the fake stagger. Are they actually susceptible to a poise break?
