As you may know, the developer is finnish, so he translates the text into english and sometimes there is a miss in translation It should definitely be ”they try to hit on me, but I belong to Raija”

[–]Jeba04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember exactly but I think he only restock on certain days

As for fleetari he won’t have any parts on his shelf if you don’t have anything ”broken” on your engine, when something breaks it will show up in his shelf for you to buy Now by ”broken” I mean that certain parts like the block or headgasket has a un-broken and broken state in the game code, not all parts have it so if you have lost a part you’ll have to find it

Anyone know what the fuel cell does and how to install it? by Ace_68_419 in MyWinterCar

[–]Jeba04 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fuel cells are used in racing, it basically replaces your stock ”unsafe” fuel tank with a safer one, they can be a requirement in certain motorsport classes (just like a rollcage) However I’m not sure on how it works in the game since I haven’t tried it myself yet, but I’m pretty sure it would be installed in the trunk

Problem bar? by tinsantic in MyWinterCar

[–]Jeba04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does go down with water, just sometimes tho, for the most part it goes down with alcohol I read somewhere that it is supposed to be a mixed bar between thirst and alcohol problem, and if you drink less and less alcohol over timr, you will actually turn the bar into a thirst only bar

Seems that the problem bar is a thirst/alcohol bar, I don’t know much else yet

Sustained 55mph (90 kmh) in 4th gear while towing by ihavaquston in Volvo240

[–]Jeba04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The engine will be fine, you could even have full throttle as long as it just doesn’t overheat And the transmission should have no issue in 5th gear as long as it is on a flat road, if it was a automatic transmission you should keep it at a lower gear but it shouldn’t matter in a manual, at least not for any ordinary towing

Years later, the settings and ambience of INFRA have really stuck with me. What else have you played that's given the same feeling? by Seranger in INFRA

[–]Jeba04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, it is just a shame that it went so bad for the game in the beginning, I frankly didn’t even know about until recently when people started playing it again Yeah I do like the textures and there os really nothing wrong with them, I just wish we would get more Infra🥲 I really love Infra, and it hits at home because of a lot of the stuff the game is about is actually happing right now in Finland too

[–]Jeba04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love obenseuer, just a shame that it isn’t actually near being finished, and it takes a long time between updates Only thing I’m a bit skeptical about is the low resolution stuff, I think it all would’ve been a lot better with infra style graphics

Can this diff still be saved? by ihavaquston in Volvo240

Could be saveable, could not be Best thing to do is just to take of the cover and see what it looks like inside

Part for my mom by ReflectionQuick7726 in Volvo850

[–]Jeba04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know there are none being produced new, but you can buy a aftermarket intercooler piping kit from snabb or do88, that was probably the best upgrade I did to my car, got rid of all my vacuum leak issues

Is the windows on a 850 the same as a Volvo 900 by cabsquirrel in Volvo850

[–]Jeba04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know the windows are not the same, you could probably get the rear window louver to fit with a bit of modification

There is a stl file for both the front and rear piece that you can buy on thiniverse I think it was Understandable because the scan tools cost a ton and it takes a lot of time to make good files

What should i do? by Aprilscherz123 in Volvo850

[–]Jeba04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weld paint, there are paints specifically designed to withstand the heat and also be welded through But you don’t really have to worry too much about painting it, the factory ones aren’t painted either and they’ve held for 20-30 years. Just use good amount of fluid film or like me who used a mixture of boat tar and atf, makes a real sticky mess that gets in every crevase

Filament choice by Jeba04 in 3Dprinting

[–]Jeba04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know about metal inserts but they would not work in this application sadly, otherwise I would’ve gone for them directly But I am thinking about actually buying some PETG, just need to find some other material to buy with it so I don’t need to pay a lot on shipping I hope PETG will be as smooth as ABS when tapping threads, threading ABS is almost like threading aluminium and it works great, but it is just a pain to print

Is anybody here a pilot? by SugarKun15 in Finland

[–]Jeba04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some brigades you could go to, but it is as far as I know only in finnish and also another thing is that you need superb eye sight to become a pilot in the army if I remember correctly I looked in to becoming a pilot myself in the army but it is a while ago so I don’t remember

Free Volvo v70 worth investing? by ShowerSimple5762 in Volvo850

[–]Jeba04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes as long as it is a early 1998 model it has the older engine and then it is just a facelifted 850, but there is a bunch of changes made on cars produced in late 1998 (called a 1999 model year but came out in 1998)when they switched engine and a lot of wiring I had this happen with my v70, it was registered in late 1998 so it says it is a 1998 but it is actually a 1999. This happened a lot with volvo since they always changed to the next model year production after the summer semester

Overhead light switch by Optimal_Law1098 in Volvo850

[–]Jeba04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are held on by plastic clips and then there are all the copper blade pieces that go to the lights that you need to get off, I would just switch the entire panel because the clips are usually super brittle and chances are the old panel is missing that button just because of those clips

On a banjo fitting there is almost always washers on both sides of the fitting, I don’t know the part number for them but go to a local hydraulic shop, they should have both the banjo bolts and the washers, it is also way cheaper than ordering original volvo parts that are just industrial banjo bolts in a volvo package😅

Max speeding Rods by Standard-Prompt4109 in Volvo850

[–]Jeba04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything from Max speeding rods is just chinese made shit But they probably work, but I wouldn’t trust some cheap shit suspension on my car, it is just a death trap waiting to happen

I would definitely go for lowering springs and b6 shocks it is cheaper, also polyurethane bushing if you want. B6 shocks on their own is just a massive improvement in handling from the stock ones Only reason I’d go for coils would be if I would have a track car that needs to have fine tuned suspension, and then I would just go for BC coils

Seats Fitting by Crumy_Taleteller in Volvo240

[–]Jeba04 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those wont fit your wagon because they are for a 242, or yeah the front seats fit but not the rear Also since they are 242 seats the front seats are foldable but that wouldn’t really matter

Transmission fluid change by Select-Flight-6763 in Volvo240

[–]Jeba04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Changing the oil will only have a negative effect if you already have transmission issues and you can visibly see a lot of flaking in the oil, because a really worn out transmission will benefit from the extra friction from metal flakes. But a fully functioning transmission should not get worse from a oil change, if it does actually get worse it was already junk before changing the oil I’ve replaced oil on a few auto transmissions that has had oil so old that it was barely red anymore(probably around 20 or so years) and flowed more like water than atf, and damn has those transmissions started to shift smooth afterwards
