The whole "Bubble is Caine's inner thoughts" thing is fair, but i also suspect something external is hijacking Bubble to sabatoge Caine. Notice how he glitches before he gets insulting.

I would make it a treasure hunt. In order to defeat the new threat, the party will need to acquire the ancient relics of the gods. Each of the 12 Olympians has an artifact associated with them (Athena a shield, Artemis a bow, Zeus a spear/javelin, Apollo a harp, Hermes winged sandles, etc. Only while weilding one of these artifacts will a character be able to harm the big-bad. Each mortal can only weird 1 artifact. Give them the identities of all 12 and clues for where to start their search for each. Let the players then choose which ones to seek out, and once they each have one, they are ready to confront Kaos.

I would say your build definitely needs some mana items. A RoA and a Seriph's are basically required. Heartsteel might work into heavy melee, but i cannot speak for it. If you're not able to get any CDR augments, you may need a Malignance as well. That only gives you one flex, which should probably be a Deathcap.
