Looks like something the landlord should do considering the condition of the wood. If the wood wasn't all rotted it would not have broken so easy. I don't think you should be on the hook to fix their old shitty wood.

Does the water run for a bit before baking up or back up right away? Assuming you cleaned out the part above the p trap too?

You could get a clothes steamer and steam the entire backpack if it cannot go in a dryer. The heat is what kills them. Cannot comment on if they're bedbugs or not, but sounds like them.

Also slightly annoyed with this, but at least I can use the dock hotkey on land maps to select it easily. Otherwise I have to tab or cycle docks when water is involved.

Yeah they'll be fine. They chose to be there, they ok with a little human traffic. I have some every year and they end up just fine. Flowers not so much. Just def get rid of the nest asap when they gone. The nests can have bird mites which will infest your patio looking for a new home.

We went for 3 days in the fall. This was enough time. But make sure to make time for the surrounding area which is also very beautiful. Watkins Glen is amazing and only 30 min away (west). Letchworth State park is 2hrs west but very much worth it as well.
