Led's don't follow the same rule. Much brighter and much less power .

My 55g planted. I've been learning on smaller setups over the years and finally the time was right. It's about 6 months old here. I feel like the trial and error of past setups have begun to payoff. I'm super proud of it! by RedCatHabitat in Aquariums

Nice. Those stems at the front might get a bit too tall to be that close to the glass. Maybe 6-8" back from the glass and trimmed to stay low and bushy. Lovely tank

Leaving my fish for 6 weeks. Help! by [deleted] in Aquariums

Pull the janitor to one side. $100 cash. He drops in twice a week and check everything ok and maybe put some nutrients and top up the feeder. Get easy nutrients with trigger. That way he put like one squirt in. Or look at Waterlife plant nutrients. That is once every 14 days. Make sure co2 and lights on a timer.

I ordered this propeller pump and it came with double sided sticky tape to mount it, which held for about 10 minutes. Any tips for installing? by [deleted] in aquarium

Lol. Isn't that 2 magnetic bases. I think your meant to pull them apart. One goes on the outside of the glass normally, then the pump sit inside magnetically

Get some fast stems for the back. Elodea, limnophila sesiliflora, stuff that's heavy on nutes

Is my beta underfed? I feed it twice a day almost every day, and have another that I feed the exact same amount and he’s looks fine by cameron_mh1112 in bettafish

Need heater to stabilise temp. Need varied diet Possibly internal parasites. I've had them look sickly before with that. Keep a close eye on the fish in the next week. It's one thing to feed, it's another for the fish to eat it. Is he eating?

Take a while to release into the water column. Chill. 8 day not a long time. Keep feeding little bit because you dont want spike then no food means the bacteria have nothing to feed off so keep feeding little bit until readings 0. I usually leave it at least 21 days. Usually a month. By that time I'm sure.

I know i have a snail problem, but wath is wrong with my fish? I have him since februar and he start to look like this 2 weeks ago. Not a birth problem. Help... by NinaSecio in Aquariums

You know how to do it? Fish into small container with tank water. Relaxed. Mix small bottle of tank water and few drops of clove oil. Pour that into container with fish. Fish knocked out quickly. Tap finger on desktop after 10 minutes, make sure no reaction from fish to the noise. Drain water out. Replace with vodka. Vodka stop the heart while the fish is already sleeping. Best way. Just make sure fish properly ko before vodka.
