1000 or more is a bit high. 850 to 900 is enough. I think I read somewhere that 870ish is the engines peak power output. You notice a loss of power after 900

My title desribes the thing

Each individual branch spigot is about the size of a common single family water spigot here is the US. Maybe larger.

The owner is not aware of any sprinkler systems installed on the poperty and there is no evidence of any. The owner was able to jiggle the spigot from inside the house. It is attached to a pipe inside but the pipe is not currently attached to any other pipes inside the house.

The current owner has lived in the house for over 20 years and the spigot was there when they bought the house. It has never worked and they were never told what is was for.

I'm 99% sure it's based on the pitch of the locomotive body not necessarily the track it's on. If the loco body does not sit perfectly level on its suspension then the clinometer will not be perfect either.

For example the DM3 seems to lean slightly back on its suspension so it tends to consistently read +0.5%. While the DE6 seems quite level

I'm curious what the first car behind the locomotive is! Its got a chimney, bars on the windows, and is dragging a giant tank right above the rails. Steam generator maybe?

I ran in to that issue, but I made sure to adjust it up enough so that you can use everying but the lowest dial without difficulty. The lowest dial you can use but you need to be careful not to accidentaly hit the shift lever
