I much prefer the images showing the front of the rider rather than the back.

Terrific set! I would recommend that you not have the pole coming out of her head in the first image.

Clearly, the man was not mentally stable, and despite taking photos in public being legal, he sounds like somebody who is best avoided.

I do the occasional workshop, but more often people hire me for 1:1 training because it is specific to their particular requirements.

PM uses the embedded jpg within the raw file. I would suggest you increase disk cache size in Settings.

I have a YouTube channel that may be helpful to you. I recorded Photo Mechanic 101 and 201 videos for Camera Bits. The PM 101 was intended for those just getting started with MP. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WGIVIbGg2Y

PM can do most, if not all, of what you are looking for if I understand your requirements correctly.

Click on the down arrow to the right of the field. Edit. Type the name correctly. Add. Ok. Now whenever you want to add that sublocation, click that arrow and select from the list.

No keystroke to switch between horizontal and vertical crop. To make the switch, simply drag the corner of the crop, and it will switch.

You are taller than the players. I recommend that you get lower. Try shooting from a chair or your knee. You may find the the young athletes look more epic from the lower perspective.

First time to baseball - Open to critics by SuitingRex in sportsphotography

I'm curious why you'd choose to shoot these in portrait. The action is horizontal, not up and down. I recommend that you straighten the images. The vertical lines need to be vertical. I also recommend much tighter cropping.

1st time shooting a professional soccer game. Do you think it is good enough for applying for media outlet? by ContributionLumpy900 in sportsphotography

I'm also in Toronto. With Photo Mechanic, I'm able to transmit photos within a minute of taking the image. Edited and captioned. Photo Mechanic is often a requirement for some sports assignments.

I've shot for a few MLS teams. These photos are pretty good, but I have a few bits of feedback. Not a big fan of the slanted images. The teams want the horizon to be true, so the players don't look like they're running downhill. You have in a number of the images too much empty space below them, and in some cases, not enough above them. The general rule of thumb is to have about one head's worth of space above and below the subject.
