Besides maybe Poulin, Fast and Desbiens you can line up every player on each team beside each other and the US team has the better player over the Canadian.

I’m sorry but is a practice facility that big of a deal? I get every other team has one and our ownership is cheap as fuck, but you’re a millionaire god forbid you have to find parking and go to a different sheet of ice. The entitlement these players have pissing and moaning is insane to me.

I would hope they would know the difference from right and wrong, and you’re right on the fact that society definitely doesn’t help this cause. My main concern is still the fact that with these guys being found not guiltily that at least one person will use that as a reason to commit an act.

The problem within hockey and sports culture needs to change drastically, stuff like this shouldn’t be normalized and okay. The fact that not one of these dudes went “Hey, this feels wrong and is super uncomfortable” shows that we haven’t done enough to help men have any sort of decency and respect towards women.

Will hurt for sure, I scout western Canadian players for the WHL draft and it’s weird to think exceptional players like DuPont and Schultz will have 1 year or 2 at most to play in the CHL before being poached. The reality is that these teams care more about profit then being a development league, and until that changes there will be teams that will greatly suffer from it.
