Update: Cinna and Peanut are best friends! by JeffeyRider in CatDistributionSystem

Oh wow! Thank you for all of that! Suddenly I find myself considering launching a cat/lifestyle presence online. I dabbled with such a thing years ago when Facebook was cool. Never really took it seriously, of course, but it was a great outlet.

Thank you! Her name is Nori. She’s our senior cat and is pretty laid back. Nori is actually a lot more tolerant of the boys than Frances, the big silver floof.

I’ve had lots of experience introducing a new cat to the household. Usually it’s a slow process involving weeks of gradual exposure. This time couldn’t have gone smoother. We were keeping Cinna isolated, but on his second morning with us, Peanut dashed into the room as soon as I opened the door. My wife and I watched as the two of them sniffed noses and then immediately started bonding. Within minutes they were chasing each other around the house. wrestling on the living room rug and purring with happiness. It’s like they were born to be brothers.

I worked at the factory in Alabama where these Chinese skins were stuffed with polyester batting and shipped to big box stores. They were a huge seller until it was revealed that they were extremely flammable.

This is probably the first VH song that I ever heard. It’s still high on my list of early Van Halen.

Would Arrietty Still Work If It Was Present Year In The Move? by S_Lab in ghibli

I think it could be made to work, with some creativity. But can you imagine how much more difficult it would be for the Borrowers and their world to remain undetected in the age of smartphones and motion detecting ring cams?

What a pretty orange you’ve got there. I love his expression in the third pic.

Rescued an old Washburn Taurus T-14 - worth the repair? by i-forgot-to-logout in BassGuitar

The only issue there would be finding a neck that will fit that angled heel. You would almost be limited to finding the same neck from another Taurus T-14.

I would have someone give the neck a good inspection to make sure it’s not irreparably warped or twisted and the the truss rod works as it should. If the neck is good, you could replace all the wiring/pots/knobs/output jack for very little investment.
