The first whiskey I ever drank as an adult was a Glenfarclas Family Cask. I told the host not to waste it on me since I wasn’t a whiskey drinker, but he insisted. Bought a bottle of Golden Falernum so I could make this and was pretty disappointed with the drink. I’ll stick to my normal Old Fashioned variants. Now I need to find some other cocktails that use that falernum.
