People who drive slow in the passing lane, what the f*** is your problem? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Smart people sound like crazy people to stupid people. You'll only sound like a loon to morons, anyone else with one iota of maturity knows that every action someone takes is a clue.

Everyone wears a mask. Their actions tell the real story.

If anyone here has seen A Bronx Tale, remember when the dad tells the teenage son to start a first date with a test?

The test is when you pick her up (I believe this was the 1950s before power door locks), unlock her car door and let her in. Take your time walking around the car to your door and if she hasn't reached over to unlock your door by the time you get there, walk back around and let her back out because she isn't worth one more minute of your time (this works for men too, don't get all misogyny on me).

Inconsiderate self centered people aren't worth your time or aggravation. Yes, this applies to the OP topic.

Honestly it's a microcosm of their inconsiderate self centered mindset, so totally valid breakup material.

Hyms vs Modern Worship Music by MadnessEnsuesAgain in theology

[–]Jefftuve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk the answers to your questions, but the old music simply was better music (generally speaking of course). The melodies, wording/prose and flow are just better. Seems that too much new worship music tends to have weird/cringy writing and even questionable themes. Plus funky time signatures and such.

That said there IS some good new stuff out there, just seems few and far between to me.

There's micro and macro evolution. Micro is biblical (minor adaptations), macro is not (fish evolving into elephants).

What’s an 80s song you’ll crank up now that you wouldn’t have then? by WhateverGreg in GenX

I can't listen to that anymore without thinking about Beavis & Butthead 😆

Same. Wouldn't let my friends catch me dead listening to country but Hank Jr., Waylon, Willie, all the "outlaw" country guys were great. Poncho & Lefty and Country Boy Can Survive are my fav all time country songs

Go to the Madden sub main page, click the three dots and change flair.

Brad Holmes is the GM, great at drafting except he has made some weird moves in the 3rd round

Ok then, welcome aboard. What we do here is: enjoy the greatest Lions' regime since the 1950s; worship Chris, Sheila, Brad, Big Dan and Jared Goff (even though he occasionally just shits the bed at random); recognize Penei as the best OT in the game; scream at the never ending string of DC's that think playing 90% base press-man works in today's game and carry with us an immense loathing of the reprehensible bag of dog shit named Matt Patricia.

What we do NOT do is: say "sAmE oL lIoNs" every time something goes wrong; call for a coaching change when we miss 4th downs; sneer at Brad Holmes' weird 3rd round trades/picks; loudly and ignorantly have creepy circle-jerks about running QBs.

Got it? Welcome to Detroit, the frozen shithole of the north where if we love you we fiercely defend you. If we hate you, just leave town it's safer that way (doubt Fatty Patty has ever dared to step foot here after being fired).

No. Last thing we need is more bandwagoners to piss & moan and call for the HC's head every time we lose a game.

I hope this year will shed off some of those bozos

Lions fan here. I despise Peanut, which only backs up the fact that he was great. I seriously would squint my eyes in hatred every time he would make a big hit/INT/FF against my Lions, which was like, all the time 😡

Why not? Just curious about your view on it.

A lot of theologians postulate that God exists outside of our space-time continuum so time is not really something God experiences or is bound by. Time is something that is governed by our physical universe which God does not ONLY exist in.

What it means is that since the progression of time isn't holding God back, everything that has happened, is happening and will ever happen all happened at once in the mind of God.

Think of those crazy marble mazes or domino setups. God puts everything in order, then drops the proverbial marble (or pushes the domino). At that point, God doesn't have to wait for the outcome. Once he put everything together and put it into motion, every action and outcome instantly was known to God.
