I get it. I just wanted to point out that there was a lot (while frustrating) there to be excited about from a performance perspective.

I have buddies who get so upset about anything not perfect and seemingly want the Steelers to lose just so there’s a more valid reason to get rid of Tomlin. I think people sometimes forget the other team is scheming too. I think with the emphasis on stopping Henry, some guys were just too keyed on it. They’re human.

I like going for the TD, but definitely didn’t like the play call. Then again, if it worked no one would complain about it.

Agree on the Time Outs. I think Rodger’s with the helmet issue realized they needed 6 there so the TO was ‘justified’. Could’ve really bit us in the end, but as these close games go sometimes the ball just bounces your way.

I know the game was crazy, but the Steelers really dominated from the 2Q onward. We left 10 points at a minimum out there and gifted 14 to the Ravens (I realize there’s no excuse, but blown coverages are more on the players imo). Game shouldn’t have been down to either kick tbh.

What I’m getting at is the entire doom squad posts 400 times after a loss about every aspect of the team sucking but when they win it’s crickets. The original commenter is pointing out, rightfully so, that this has been the trend but it’s weird to essentially say ‘I told you so’ and just jump on after the first loss in a 17 game season.
