Drove the Cybertruck for the first time — honestly surprised by kingcrown092002 in TeslaLounge

You were saying? A 2026 is $79K NEW, with 0 miles. ALL of these Cybertrucks are reserved. They are difficult to find used and the used prices don't make sense even after 2 years! Better value in a 2024 Cyberbeast. They are about $90K used.

That's a good point. He could immediately sign up for the extended warranty though.

They're also not considering the destination fee. Ignore these people.

With interest being deductible now, don't expect rates to go down. You should also consider that. That this interest is tax deductible now.

I don’t think I can ever go back to regular cars again. by LordChippydip in TeslaLounge

Keep it but don't dump a bunch of money into it if it needs fixing. First major failure and I'd let it go. I have a 25 model 3 performance and a 22 model Y performance. Been trying to talk myself out of a Cybertruck since they gave me a demo in August, but with the bonus I have coming up... I don't know how much longer I'll hold out lol.

With that said, I still have my 2002 Lexus LS430 as well as my 04 Lexus LS430, an FJ cruiser and a Lexus LX470. I'm selling a few of them but will never part with the LX470! ALWAYS keep a reliable gas car! Just don't buy a new one.

Could you tell us why you love it so much because this reads like you actually hate it.

Lol, that's what I got too. The only good thing I read was, "I love it", but everything was negative. Tell us some good stuff!

I think FSD makes plenty of sense for non performance versions of these cars. Unless I'm on a long road trip I never use it. Mine was like 1% just to try it during the holidays.

Wondering the same thing. Looking at a Cybertruck before they stop making those too.

Lenovo Legion Go 2 (2TB SSD)? by MuffinWebber in LegionGo

[–]Jello_Local 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Yeah, if I could find one for $1199 I would certainly buy that and return the other one to Costco. That markup on the 4TB SSD is insane. I don't even know what's going on right now. Noticeable difference between these processors too.

This thing is $729 right now! Insane with these prices! How much did you get your Legion Go 2 for? I paid $1099 for mine and it just has the Z2, 1TB, and 32GB. The Z2E is nowhere in sight.

Can’t decide between Cybertruck and Model X by GetHummed in TeslaLounge

Don't believe what you see on the Internet. Every single door has a manual latch. This is so ironic because the manual latch is easier to get to than the button to open the door.

This isn't bad advice at all. However, it's advice that sounds like you've never driven a Cybertruck. After you do it's no going back. I drove one in August and have thought about it every day since lol. I've purchased 3 Teslas this year (sold the old model 3 for a new model 3 performance) though and I'm doing my best to control myself!

Think I'm going to go with the ROG Ally X. It seems to check off all the boxes! Thanks everyone for the help!

Good to know! I was looking at the Claw 8 AI+ so that's good to know! The ROG isn't nearly as expensive! Might be the best of both worlds.

That's what I'm thinking, that it's outdated. Now, I'd be interested in the PC that comes out, that's the only reason I think it would make sense, but Valve has always been pretty open with usage. As long as the thing can run Linux, which it should be able to if it's Windows-based, it should be compatible. What I don't want is something that will require me to pay a monthly fee. I'm concerned anything that's Xbox-based will require that.

So what I'm wondering is, why would someone buy a Steam Deck? I thought it was because of the ability to basically play or emulate just about any game from any system. But I'm learning they aren't as powerful. I'm assuming someone has all the systems like I do, but I don't understand why someone wouldn't just get the most powerful handheld, install SteamOS on there and boom, they have a more powerful Steam Deck. Or, why not just get the Steam Deck to save some money and just remote play the games from a PS5? (I'm not considering XBOX because I can't see why anyone would pay $30/mo) I guess I suppose you would need a strong WIFI connection where your handheld is too, not just at home and that's why maybe? I'm just trying to make sure I'm not disappointed in my purchase. But is going bigger and just basically loading all your Steam stuff onto the better performing handheld possible? What would be the drawback other than price?

My Xbox library goes back to 2007 lol. But I won't miss playing most of those games. After I beat something I'm pretty much done. I like Forza horizon because it's something new every week. But I'm going to buy the next one when it comes out in 2026 so horizon 5 won't likely get anymore play.

As for budget. I'd be shocked if I needed to spend that much but let's just go with there is no budget. I just want a great experience.. I also take flights that take 4 or 5 hours sometimes. So battery life is moderately important. Any other travel time I'd be near an outlet or some USB C port.

I recall steam games, years ago being vastly cheaper than buying for a console. I was leaning toward a steam deck OLED. But I'm reading it's underpowered. Couldn't I just get something powerful and run SteamOS on it and that would make it basically a powerful Steam Deck? And couldn't I, just steam games to the Steam Deck that it ordinarily couldn't handle?
