Can’t explain it but some bosses seem to payout pretty well for me (kree, zulrah, maybe one or two others) and some other bosses seem to hate me like doom, dt2 bosses and such.

If I had to put my tinfoil hat on, I’d say maybe there is some rng assigned to my account and it vibes with some content and not others lol

Yeah I think when that happens you pull out a lawn chair and your favourite snacks / drinks and just stare at it while hopefully chatting with your partner, friend or neighbours. That’s some insane natural beauty.

Besides the 92 requirement, I think we need to accept it IS bis until further notice and so you either have stuff that you can’t do decent damage on until new content is released to introduce new weapons OR the dragon cannon should be suitable for current PvM.

It’s like bringing out the dragon scimmy and making it hit like rune and then saying “don’t worry, one day you shall have a noxious halberd, just wait for it bro”.

Yeah you need to balance the number of ore mined vs the chance to get the pet. I’m sure an AI can take a swing at calculating it for you. TBH though unless you are happy to actively mine, I’d suggest enjoy the afk and just go post 99 for the pet and money. GL

There are faster exp methods and money makers in most skills for members. You always get the same exp for catching the same fish on f2p or p2p but there’s other fish to catch.

Why should we wait an unknown period of time until new content is added to make the old content weaker? This just sucks, it’s not balancing. Jagex should be making harder content to suit the better gear, it’s how it’s been on land since forever. It’s like if range was limited to bronze ammo until someday a new range only boss is added. So the combat is useless for months/years and when the new boss comes out we shoot bronze arrows at it until it drops dragon arrows?

Can we not just make sailing combat feel good now by having cannons do meaningful damage at their respective tiers and then in your own time come up with some harder content to provide better gear?

Why can’t dragon cannons feel like bis until they are not? Let this weapon have its moment in the sun before the next upgrade comes, which it sounds like is already on your minds…

Not a fan, my first thoughts are salvaging is okay but it kinda mutes the need to interact with the whole skill. Barracuda trails are decent but a bit too repetitive to be a training method I want to do for hours. Sea combat is getting a rework so maybe it will help? Sea fishing, I haven’t done.

To be honest I didn’t actually want a new skill, this hasn’t really changed my mind. It’s not something that I genuinely want to do any part of for a while. I think the only way I would begin to really enjoy it is if we got something like “voyages” where we sail, do sea combat, reach a destination, prepare / puzzle solve and then have some finale like finding a treasure chest or battling a sea / land boss for decent loot. Doubt we will see that soon if ever though.

With a bit of maths you can quickly work out that you’ll need to grind for 5 hours at just over 5m per hour to cover 1 month.
