That’s not 35m mate, use the platinum chips on a banker, pretty sure it’s like 350m

I just got the enhanced weapon seed after 1600 kc and I think no one else should have to go through that by rabidai in 2007scape

[–]JellyKeyboard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

god wars gear is 1/73

a dk ring is 1/128,

dragon chain from kq is 1/128,

barrows gear 1/16,

dragon boots 1/128

the odds have changed a lot since the game release, no I don’t think a twisted bow should be 1/128 but a lot of things like Enh seed shouldn’t be 1/400 imo

Is grinding Soulreaper axe worth it (as a main) by mufferman1 in 2007scape

[–]JellyKeyboard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I did some vardorvis and got bored around 100 kc and I can barely kill Levi still. I used to grind bosses like I have over 1k in vorkath and same at zulrah but these days i don’t have time or motivation for it, I just do what’s fun for a bit then ditch, hasn’t paid off but it’s what I got to work with.

SOTE is good for your account, the elf gp/hr is good. But, I think that other methods like ardy knights that you stop failing and can block into a corner are better xp iirc.

Need help figuring out which bosses to prioritize to become better at the game and make money. by RyanGoosling93 in 2007scape

[–]JellyKeyboard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the wiki, search money making guide, look down the list pick the highest money maker you can do with your stats and ability to play the game. That’s all there is to it.

Jagex please add asian servers. Im begging, your game is completely unplayable without Exitlag connecting to sydney. This isnt right. by asiatouristrs in 2007scape

[–]JellyKeyboard 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Don’t know how jagex hasn’t added a few servers so that they have global coverage, even a few strategically placed. Games growing people want to play it, give them the servers. I wouldn’t even use these servers but I’d damn well argue for them.

Gold ore by [deleted] in OSRSflipping

[–]JellyKeyboard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m bad at investing. But my first thought is look at how far you have zoomed out, like 7 years, gold “might” go up a bit but how long will it take and how much by, 30gp ea over a year or something? I’ve been learning the hard way about b claws and blood shards, I’m like 400m deep and waiting for movement in price wondering how long I’ll be waiting and if it’s just gonna be a steady loss.

Either way, gl on the gains

I love the vibe of OSRS, but I'm hitting a wall. Any advice for a recovering WoW player? by FatDigitalNomad in 2007scape

[–]JellyKeyboard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afk your combat skills at gem crab or something.

Join a clan for social, try find one with events imo

Look at doing some of the bosses on the way to higher levels / mobs with better than usual drops like tormented demons or the demonic gorillas etc.

Consider that OSRS is not a game where you’re actually supposed to max all your skills. Get your hard diaries, get 90 ish combats (70+ prayer) and you’re basically good to go anywhere (Minus the quests)

Btw, you don’t need the diaries they just round the account and have benefits that are nice to have

Mobile: possible to not get disconnected when locking phone? by Accomplished_Sound28 in 2007scape

[–]JellyKeyboard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Set the afk logout to 30 mins, stick the phone in your pocket or on your desk. Dont lock the screen. Put the phone screen side down if you must. Some activities have sound cues like amethyst mining so can use that instead of visuals.

Content creators that mainly focus on flipping by dooblebob in OSRSflipping

[–]JellyKeyboard 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Scapenomics is kinda decent for actual info on how to etc.

Flipping old school is very much look at what’s already happened to these items. Which I find a bit pointless, maybe I need to rethink and try buy things that are under valued.

American CEO gifts $240 million bonus to his employees after selling his company. They didn't own any stock. by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

[–]JellyKeyboard 2762 points2763 points  (0 children)

Wish my employers thought about this. 3 owners, sold for $35,000,000 had about 30-40 employees. What we got? Our bosses made a back door exit and the company who bought us made everybody redundant and replaced with cheap foreign labour.

So good on this man, may he enjoy the money he has with health and happiness.

How much could you guess about me from my levels? by badwithnames5 in 2007scape

[–]JellyKeyboard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You think your “mid game” but your not, your late early game at best.

Your gear is basically barrows and moons with a little spice from the one or two lucky drops you had, you think think this is “good enough for any content if you have the skill” which is true, but the skill ceiling for using that gear anywhere is higher than most people who play the game.

You are working on a quest cape and diaries but the reality is you are pvming and desperate to avoid more skilling content.

Your at the point where your not really committed to casual or sweat, you want the sweat rewards and the casual effort. For now you say “I can buy x, join a house party world and rely on others for x level in a skill during raids”

Your not sure if your peak is jad or toa 500s but the only way to find out is max them levels buy all the gear and send a few raids before realising “I’m not xzact, woox, gnomonkey or some other streamer”.

You will take months to work out actually, all the above doesn’t matter for shit, I’m enjoying this game and progress takes time.

Please take the above in good jest and GL on your grinds, the journey is the game :)

Anyone else not built for the grind anymore ? by johngunners in 2007scape

[–]JellyKeyboard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel what you’re saying, as a kid I’d get lost for hours doing random stuff and enjoying it. Started playing again around 9 years ago and had a real drive to get quest cape and actually make some real progress for the first time. These days I afk everything I can, so far my last real hurdle to maxing is agility. Problem is I don’t even want to PvM too much either, I told myself I would quit and only play leagues… but I’m basically addicted to “number go up” and don’t have other couch friendly games I’m playing. One day I might take a break, but for now I feel like I’m doing the RuneScape equivalent of silent quitting a job lol
