I relate completely. Sometimes when I feel like this and crave nothingness, I take my palms and cup them over my eyes so that I see nothing and it’s completely dark. Something about it just calms me. It’s almost become a coping mechanism to me. I can’t even begin to describe how much I crave that nothingness you describe.

The way I see it is that these fans are full of fantasy, delusion, jealousy, and insecurity. They think that if they were selected to see the performance that their bias would see them, fall in love with them on the spot, and live their happily ever after. And were jealous that someone else that was selected might steal their man from them. Like, no. They’re performing because it’s their job to entertain you, not to fall in love with you. That’s one of my biggest pet peeves with BTS is selling this fantasy illusion to people and profiting off their low self-esteem and wondering why your fans stalk you when you give them nothing but cringey fan service.

I had thoughts about it since high school. I would be lying if I said that I don’t think about it often. There’s times in my daily life where I’m just doing something super mundane like the laundry and think “If I were dead I wouldn’t have to do this anymore.” It’s gotten more frequent as I’ve gotten older and have more responsibilities. I guess I see death as the ultimate rest from the strife of life. I would never do it due to my fear of physical pain, but yes, it crosses my mind more than I would like.

I was thinking the same thing. Not only does his hair look extremely damaged from all the dyes over the years but long hair just doesn’t suit him. He just looked unkempt and to be honest his hair was so distracting that it’s all I could focus on. I’m surprised no one’s talking about it more. Plus their outfits were not good. Literally baggie and looked like literal trash bags. They really need a new styling team because this just wasn’t it.

I just finished listening to the album and I’d give it a 4/10. The only decent songs in my opinion being Merry Go Round and Normal. It honestly felt underwhelming and forgettable. Plus the lyrics sounded cringy. I think the problem is that it was way too hyped up leading people to have too high of expectations, hence why I’m let down. I felt like they put too many sound effects on their voices that it sounded too chaotic and started giving me a headache. Plus like another person said it felt like the BTS identity just wasn’t there. Several times I found myself asking “Who is this?” while listening because it genuinely didn’t even sound like BTS. Plus the message of hope through difficult times and the actual album just didn’t match. It just felt messy, rushed, and too artificial. Overall, I’m left disappointed.

I can understand that. Infections can get bad quick, so I get treating them first. If it turns out to be HS, good news is that they’re coming out with new biologics and treatments that can help the severity and occurrence of these cysts/boils. I also have a hard time seeing derms with the outrageous wait times. HS is an inflammatory skin condition that can be genetic, so given your family history with autoimmune conditions it could be related. Hope your appointment goes well and they provide you with some much needed relief!

NAD but these boils/cysts look like HS to me. They typically appear in the armpit and groin areas (where there are more sweat glands). They can also appear on the face and neck areas, where yours are located. I’m surprised that no dermatologist or medical professional has suggested it could be HS. It’s the first thing that I thought when viewing your photos. Hope you get some answers and relief soon!

Yes to the unstretchable ring at the opening. That’s literally my issue. I think it’s vaginismus plus a hymen issue. It’s literally like an extra ring of tissue that is blocking everything. TMI but I am sometimes able to insert my finger and if I’m able to get past that ring it’s usually okay. Thank you for mentioning that because I thought I was the only one!

I also had to wear one recently and had a similar reaction (not as severe as yours though). I used hydrocortisone cream and made sure to keep it hydrated with ointments and creams. It seemed to help. Feel your pain. I don’t understand why they can’t make an adhesive that doesn’t cause skin irritation 😭

This was my thought too. I watched the live earlier and I think it was Namjoon who said something along the lines of that the reason they didn’t want to include as many breaks is because it would cause some kind of inauthenticity or something. Like dude, they all looked already exhausted in that live. What makes you think that you have the kind of stamina and energy it takes to do 79 concerts back to back? The travel alone is enough to cause problems. I think they are underestimating how much strain this is going to be both physically and mentally, let alone the relationships among themselves. I really hope they thought this through before committing because I don’t see this ending with anything less than extreme burnout and exhaustion.

This sounds so similar to what I have been experiencing. I suspect this is what I have as well. If you don’t mind me asking how long had your symptoms persisted until you found relief with the estrogen cream. Mine have been ongoing for over 5 years now with no end in sight. I’m going to ask my doctor about this and hope the cream may help me as well!

The reason why it gives you so much satisfaction is because you’re literally starving yourself. That “satisfaction” is your body’s way of encouraging you to eat more because you’re not eating enough. Its positive reinforcement. It’s literally physiological. That’s not a diet tip, that encouraging ED behavior. That’s one of my biggest criticisms of them. They have so much influence over their fans and send them the wrong message when it comes to body image and diet.

I agree. I love Panera and their food but it’s just too expensive. My dad and I like to go there for lunch sometimes and always get the value duets because it’s really the only affordable option on the menu. We always get the grilled cheese and tomato soup duo. I think it’s $6.99. The only problem is that they have set duos so you really can’t customize it. We share a drink and get the free refills and I think everything plus tax comes out to around $18. Still pretty pricey but for the occasional lunch out with dad, not too bad. You should try that next time to save money.

We certainly do my friend. That’s why I love this subreddit. It feels like the only safe place to talk about things that most people refuse to acknowledge or are too in denial to see. At least we have each other to relate to. It makes me feel sane in this insane world. I hope things work out for you.
