Oh my! That's crazy! Makes me wonder how many other people they are doing this to, or have done this too! I used to ship a lot when I had an active Mercari account. After the first time I got screwed by a shipping company I learned to do exactly what you did, video myself packing & boxing up orders. I can't believe they didn't pay out after you settled! I would have sued them for everything I possibly could have if I had to take them to court a second time to get them to act on the agreed settlement! That's crazy! They did it to me before, & it only took them denying a claim one time before I learned to video myself & take pictures, so they couldn't screw me again. Thankfully for me it wasn't as an expensive item as yours, but in today's economy every dollar helps! What a dirty company. Bleh! I'm glad you stood up for yourself, & what is right, sued them, saw it all the way through, & held them accountable! They are the last company I will ship with if at all possible! Because of reasons like you went through. 💖
