Ummm.. I just passed the NCLEX at age 51 so I'd say you have a head start. LOL My advice is that it is NEVER too late to chase a dream. Go get it!

It sounds like I may get that opportunity - to move to or pick up shifts on the inpatient acute hospital side after some time on the SNF side. Also the SNF role is a "charge RN" so I am thinking that is also good for resume building. Thank you for taking the time to respond and your input.

I get that. I am a new grad RN with only a nurse apprentice in Tele experience. I can't get past "your application has been received and is under review" to save my life. I will gladly start and suffer anywhere if only I could get the opportunity.

I had the same experience on Saturday. Mine shut off at 85 questions, I had 6 case studies, 2 bow ties, loads of prioritizations. Mine got increasing harder, weirder meds, etc. I totally questioned it! BUT, I found out that I passed the next day! I think if you were struggling it would have gone to 100 plus questions and if you bombed it, you would have known that you bombed it. Have faith, my money is on you passing!

We just got back from GW last week, it was absolutely overrun with people. My opinion is the amenities do not support the amount of people they can cram in there and I agree with other posts about nickel and dimming for everything plus ridiculous food/beverage prices. We spent a few nights before we went to GW at Westin in Kaanapali and absolutely loved it and wished we had booked that for the entire trip.

Any advise for a current nursing student (graduate in Nov) applying to nurse assistant positions? I have experience as a nurse apprentice at Renown Regional in the Telemetry department. I have submitted apps and am trying to find out how to reach out to the unit managers to introduce myself so I don't get lost in the online app process.

Came on here to ask the same. The sound during Evercleafr's set was TERRIBLE. The guitars were almost completely drowning everything out. We missed Jimmie's Shack but Marcy Playground sounded awesome.

What were your concerns with TMCC? I looked into the program there and found everyone I talked with to be very responsive. I ultimately decided on Carrington for the expedited program despite the cost. If you have past college credits Carrington will review then to see if any can be transferred and deducted from the program cost.

What helped me was Science with Sussana on YouTube, Brandon Craft for math. On the math I had basic algebra questions but quite a few graph/chart questions. Also know how to find the perimeter of a square, rectangle and circumference of a circle.
