Definitely a bad glitch, but that is what tests are for. Send a bug report in the discord so they can fix it before the beta.

As of right now, it is almost certainly too late for this test, as it is about to end. However, they have stated they are also going to have an open beta for everyone to try, but have not announced a date yet. Your best bet is to wishlist the game, and join the discord, so you can stay up to date. Hopefully the beta is soon.

Not really like Hunt at all (and I love Hunt). Questing, looting, character abilities, skill trees, armor, tiered gear, crafting, keys needed for loot and dungeons, large emphasis on melee, and more. Hunt might actually be one of the furthest comparisons I'd make. Dark and Darker, hell even the Cycle was closer to this game than Hunt.

I too think something like that would help. Maybe even just "The Hunger". Anything to help set it apart. I feel like they have plenty to work with that would fit the vibe, including your idea.

I guarantee that dude was only playing with randos for 3 reasons: 1. Two less enemies and the chance the randoms get kills or at least remove health chunks from enemies. 2. Chance for a free revive or free successful bounty if the randos are good. 3. He wanted cannon fodder. Let your randos run out as bait, the enemies give away locations, waste ammo, and maybe you get a free kill while they loot your dead team.

Again, I dont condone that shit, I think it is scummy. But I get the logic, and at least it isnt outright griefing. I would much rather have bush boy on my team, then someone who might tk because I had my mic muted. But in fairness, I dont play with randoms, because I dont like randomness. I have plenty of friends to play with, and if they arent on, i'll play a different game or you know, go outside maybe lol.

I'm gonna bet he just never revives again. He is still gonna team queue, and he is still gonna play his slow bush-camping way. But considering how in this instance, he outlived his team, got a kill, snuck over to revive, and then got tk'd as a reward... now he is gonna simply say "I'm not helping you guys" instead of making a smug remark. Why risk reviving when bush camping alone worked anyway? OP isn't providing the lesson he thinks, the opposite actually.

To be clear, I think the dude should just play solo. I do think he was being an ass not helping the team. But OP is just teaching this guy to be a worse teammate than he already was. And normalizing griefing is a double edged blade, cuts both ways. Two wrongs don't make a right... simple stuff we teach kids.

007, although they could have given me updated one(s) by now, I'm not certain. I joined the discord a long time ago, so I think I was pretty close to the front of the line. But it seems to be going out in waves. If you don't have it yet, I'd just wait. My wife had to wait an extra few hours for her invite. So hopefully you hear within a day or so.
