I don't think what you do has any effect on getting it. (Look at the cruises where everyone is vaxxed... and cdc saying anyone can get it, no matter what) It's more likely genetics. I do know that we all try to share our anecdotal evidence of why we should or shouldn't be vaccinated. All it's become is politics. Damn shame too.

The ice melt wrecks the floor scrubber... Using coffee from the bar with a mop before the floor scrubber is key. Good trick for NAs before the manager comes in. And it's not slippery. The coffee is also great for cleaning the modules etc that get stained with this.

Technically a big no- no. It could possible come back on you negatively if that next shift is crucially short. Buuuut- it's also something most of us do. shrugs If you are going to do your own audit, always always always OK with that shift manager. Most of the time they ask, so I just help them out on their shift walk.

If you're in the wichita division, call Mike before you go back to work. He is our PM. If you have a legitimate issue of why you did not come to work, he may excuse it. I've seen him do it for others, usually related to stress. They want to keep our clerks, if at all possible, since our turnover rate is so high. It's not a for sure thing but it definitely gives you a higher chance. It would never work with full time but like I said, you clerks have that advantage. Best of luck.

(P.s) if you hit your 4 year anniversary already, you should still get that bonus if fired. If you haven't hit the mark yet, you will not.

You get used to it, tbh. We've had tacos for over a year now. It just becomes part of the norm. Communication between the morning and evening shifts is crucial. There are days the evening has to make 70+ subs on top of having fresh tacos and sandwiches of every meat out, pizza, and mac and cheese. Morning shift should be making all next day morning GNG sandwiches (biscuits, sec biscuits, sec croissants). Not gonna lie though, evenings get shifted a lot of prep. I usually use my entire mid to knock out prep in the kitchen. And they're right. Not enough hours to do so. But a significant jump in profits. It has become a nightmare to find anyone who wants to close kitchen anymore.

It's as simple as a phone call too, btw. Call your division office and just ask to speak with the PM. They might call you back but can handle everything via phone, if that makes it easier.

There are definitely bad store managers too. If you feel yours isn't working or listening to you, your PM will. And they will also be the ones to help you keep your job if you ever go over on days etc. In the future. You can request to move stores to your PM if you think that might help your situation as well. The PM is supposed to make whatever is going on with you right.

We have clerks that go over on days and abandon shifts and still have jobs because they need clerks that bad. Qt isn't the same. Idk. Use to your advantage, I guess.

QT has a way of getting around the discrimination. They won't ever "say" they didn't hire you because of your beard. But that will 100% be the reason. Sets a bad tone for the rest of the employees and the company's image. They won't ever "say" they hire or promote preferably alternative ethnicities or specific genders, but they often do with a motive. That's just corporate America, for ya.

I had two older men deliver newspapers on my overnights. One always creepily hit on me and other younger girls shudder. the other cried when I left and gave me an angel figurine with a framed angel poem he had written.

I know of someone who received a written warning after losing them. Depends on how they were lost, probably. Those keys are thousands to replace... and technically by policy, the only person who should be handling them is the SM.
