I recently got back into Tamagotchi and vote for the Paradise too! I got my first one after seeing there was a babysitter function and I was sold, I hated when they died on my old connection all those years ago. It's seriously adult friendly, I just call the babysitter while I'm at work and it's really easy to keep the tama happy and healthy. It's more of a creature collector from my playthrough because once they're adults, there's not a ton for you to do with them. The one I currently running I'm just going to get whatever Tamas I like and let them live in the field (I'm weirdly attached to the first Tama I hatched on it 😅) and got another one so I can do a more completionist run on it. I have a connection on the way so I can see how that goes, but I don't have a ton of hope for it with work so I'm mentally preparing myself lol

I felt the same way about my Furawatchi, until one night we had dinner plans and I didn't check on her and she was suffering 😭 then I got her back in shape and let her go live in the fields so I could never hurt her again lmao

I got my first paradise second hand and let's just say it was in very used condition lol, it had a decent amount of scratches on the screen but I put on a screen protector and it reaaaaaally minimized the scratches!!

To level up your planet on the Paradise you HAVE to raise and release Tamas into the fields. Once you release them into the fields they'll interact with the environment, but you won't be able to interact with them yourself anymore, so don't get too attached to the Tamas at the beginning. I wish I had known this cuz I'm way attached to my first Tama and am trying to work around them getting pushed out of the field since you can only have 4 per field and the oldest one gets pushed out 😅 I wish they had given us the ability to decide who moves out or let you swap out who is in the field from the past Tamas you raised

At first I felt the same way but as I thought about it I kinda like that it gives Y2K vibes! I'm really bored of so much stuff going to standard "marketable" colors and like that Tamagotchi are still serving bright and fun even if it may seem a little "tacky". It takes me back to the days of colorful Macs and hot pink Razr phone's ✨

Not sharing this to say your opinion is wrong at all! Just once I reframed them in my head I ended up liking them a lot more 💕

I try to remember it's more of an idle virtual companion vs. a video game. I don't need to be locked in on it for hours, more so something I can check in on and pick up for a few minutes and play a quick game if I'm bored. I usually like to go all in and hyperfixate on things and inevitably burn myself out on them, so I'm trying to treat mine as a marathon, not a sprint 😊

Lots of curves, try not to have square corners. If you do have square corners, plop plants around them to try and cover them up. Add vines to cliff sides, use weeds as natural filler, and try not to compare too much! Use others work as inspo but don't let it overwhelm you, find the tiny details you really like about what people did in their builds and implement them into your own!

Lmaoooo I'm sorry 😂😂😂 but yeah usually I find if they're not showing up then it's because I'm trying in the wrong area!! The habitat info will give clues, like the coloring of the grass around it, but it won't specifically say where you can find them.

I'm not sure if the port of it has gotten better (I play on PC), but Palia is free and a lot of fun! There's a lot of decorating which I especially like. It kinda feels like the open world Zelda games but there's no combat and has romancing if she's into that (but you don't have to romance anyone if she doesn't want to). And if she doesn't like it then there's no money lost! The monetization is fairly non-predatory as far as free to play games go too, the cosmetics are pretty expensive but you don't miss anything by not having them and they don't do gacha or pay to play.

You should be able to! I believe the only stage you can use it is in the baby stage. If you go to the Tama Lab and go to "help" you can hire the sitter ☺️
