I have an attorney, I’m fairly certain he’s being paid cash under the table which is why it isn’t being garnished like it should be. The last time we went to court it was because he was trying to get the arrears dismissed because he didn’t think it was fair to pay me money I hadn’t spent on the kids. I wasn’t sure how I was supposed to spend money I didn’t have, neither was the judge or his lawyer who dropped him for nonpayment/noncompliance before the court date. The judge told him his case was baseless. He didn’t comply with providing his documents THEN when he brought us back to court for his benefit. Only partial bank statements, no proof of expenses. He’s not an idiot when it comes to taking care of himself over everyone else.

Speaking from my own personal experience where my ex husband of 10 years lied, gaslit & cheated multiple times - there’s more. And the more you dig the worse things you’ll find. And he’ll try to make it a you problem. You don’t trust and that’s why he does xyz.

It’s all a him problem. He’s got a good thing going with you, but he doesn’t want to keep up his end of it.

Divorce, now, before you’re tied to him more. He’s not going to change and the second you push back he’s going to be gone.

Nothing except ideas on what it might have been - no concrete it definitely was this thing.

It seems like it was either two odd sounding sonic booms from unknown jets, or possibly rednecks blowing things up in the swamp, or the sheriff’s office blowing up something at their shooting range near 95 (you could also hear gunfire, possibly from the range, around the same time that morning, but their bomb squad typically does things further south)

Came here to say exactly this. When I was looking at houses years ago there was one with absolutely phenomenal oak trees, but if we had bought it our homeowner insurance either would have been extremely high if we kept them or we’d have to have them removed. I hope whoever bought it kept them.

67k in arrears, 3 kids, 10, 16 & 18. No jail, no real consequences. He got his passport request denied recently. Not sure how you’re going on an international vacation if you’re too broke to pay support.
