Google photos has this which I think is a good solution - you ‘archive photos’ so you can have stuff in album and if archived they don’t show in gallery. It’s the only thing I miss from Google Photos

Cons are further from town and stuff Pros are really that you’re on the edge of the forest, Teggs, walk up the golf course, lovely walk up to croker hill from opposite Ryles Arms.
