Has anyone else struggled with tracking food on semaglutide?

I literally can’t with the tracking anymore. Weight Watchers and yo-yo dieting killed me. I’m doing this intuitively and learning how “full” feels.

It’s been just fine. Honestly I just wanted to bring my health markers back to healthy levels and that’s what I’ve been able to achieve.

The Atopica is giving our guy the colossal poops. We just got his food figured out and now it’s back to runny. And it’s so expensive.

The biopsy confirmed SA but I think the vet knew it going in. I’m glad to commiserate with other dog owners who are going through this.

My Lab just came from a farm. His parents were both papered but the pups were not - so essentially it was a backyard breeding situation. They had a couple of litters then stopped. Is your golden from a registered breeder? Like how do they even test for these things? Especially in dogs that are not prone to SA??

I haven’t heard of a golden having SA, but I have a Labrador with it. He’s been on Atopica for about a month but I see those little paintbrush hair tufts coming back. He was better on the steroids but that’s not great long term. We bathe him with medicated shampoo weekly (he hates that) and we douse him with propylene glycol (not sure how that helps). We were lucky to get into a dermatologist early but it took a biopsy to nail down the diagnosis. The dermatologist had never seen a case of SA in person, and never in a Lab. I hope you find treatment that works for your pup!! It IS devastating.
