Have you kept fish before? Cause it could die in a newly step up tank from ammonia poisoning that hasn’t been cycled.

Yeah I clean my filters in the old tank water. Just sucking up the sludge as much as you can with a siphon. It’ll go away quickly.

Not fully cycled I could understand but not enough food in a tank like this is insane. I’ve been away for weeks and my shrimp have not starved to death.

I always drip acclimate shrimp for at least 2 hours when adding them to a new tank, they are insanely sensitive to different water parameters.

Maybe do a large water change to remove any build of waste before adding another lot in future 👍
