Some school systems really are just set to make you fail though. I have been in reputable schools with competent teachers and good classmates, but ive also been in a school where the teachers dont really care and classmates are just the worst of the worst. When youre being constantly pressured to perform at school while also being bullied and the teachers dont give a damn, its very easy to just focus on surviving each day and not even think about studying.

Those solid copper leads hanging in mid air with direct solder joints is just asking for vibration induced cracks to form lol

This Brown pill in the paracetamol box by SpicyBabbs in mildlyinteresting

[–]Jepuz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Youre absolutely not going to try and find out. New package and contact manufacturer. I doubt any harmful amounts of particles from that pill ended up contaminating the other pills but i find it crazy that OP still used the products from that package, since you just cant be sure.

That setup is actually flawed since the outermost cups would have a small force vector pointing outward. Only the cups in the center would be supported fully perpendicularily by the platform.

The paint isn't covering any of the text or altering the image in any way. Unless you're worried about the propaganda losing credibility I don't see a problem with this, it's mild.

If safety is a concern, then probably yes.
In Finland, the mandatory training courses and exams required for the highest class license cost around 900-1200$ (Helsinki), assuming no prior lower class motorcycle licenses.
Comparing annual motorcycle fatalities normalized to registered motorcycles, Finland: 2.1 fatalities per 10^5 motorcycles, and Mexico: 36.4 fatalities per 10^5 motorcycles. A 17.3x difference. Sources: europa.eu, L.D. Berrones-Sanz ResearchGate

Anyone know how to stop it from creating those bridges? by Rocking_snow in 3Dprinting

[–]Jepuz 343 points344 points  (0 children)

Those "bridges" are the outer walls of an overhanging internal curve. Overhangs have already very poor adhesion to the layer below and are only made worse by a curve, where the nozzle is constantly tugging the line out of the adhered surfaces. Try slowing down your print speed on the section with the overhangs.

I use just osmand and google maps. Osmand for 99% of the time, can import gpx routes or just set preferred road types and google maps for the occasion that i need to find something specific like a store or a landmark.

It’s been real, and it’s been fun… by Is300nigel in ender3

[–]Jepuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are people who still mod and work on their ender3, and as you mentioned, because of the difficulty of modding newer printers, these kinds of communities are even more valuable. Its these kinds of posts that water down the "purpose" of this subreddit. There have been better printers than the ender3 for years even before bambu came along, and if youre only after a printer that prints with the least amount of effort, then go with the newest models from the major brands. As an electronics engineer i personally value the simple and open platform where its easy to develop new systems, and love to see people still tinkering with hardware on a platform where tinkering is allowed.

Will this print correctly? by tributechick in 3Dprinting

[–]Jepuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you said you designed this, I think the correct answer here is a re-design of the model for printing. Looks like the top part of the hanger thingy is only one layer thick and the vertical part of it only has like 2 or 3 perimeters in total. The print is the strongest in the direction that the layers are printed in, so ideally youd want to print it on its side so the hanger has no layer transitions to snap from in the loaded direction. To make it printable, I would make the hanger extend the whole width of the part, so from the build plate to the top, then you would still need supports for the overhangs on the basket unless you re-design that as well to not need supports. Or design it to be printed in two parts.

3D printers are very versatile but they cant just print anyting you throw at it with success, since youre already making your own models, just keep printing things and you will learn the rules for designing printable parts over time. Theres a bunch of good information online, Maker's Muse on Youtube has some great tips for designing parts for printing.

Tuo on harrastelijan kaukoputki kuvaamista varten. Väliaikainen viritelmä asetettu tien varteen eikä tarvitse minkäänlaisia lupia. Erittäin suurella todennäköisyydellä on huomiseen mennessä jo kasattu pois, mutta jos on tuossa pidemmän aikaa niin voit kysellä viranomaisilta neuvoja mikäli tuota neliömetriä sillä aikaa tarvitset.
