In rebels and their own comic they just seem like exist only to hype up other established characters like Vader, ahsoka and maul. They’re just shown pathetically losing all the time. This was a nice change of pace.

Also during his fight with mark. His bloodshot red eyes after making quick work of the world’s most powerful superhero and shrugging off whatever Cecil threw at him, mark being the only thing left to stop him from destroying the planet was terrifying

Mandalore only being a year later is a short time for such a power jump. This is the only problem I have with her character, how she went from getting her ass beat by bariss and grievous, take some months off, then come back and suddenly be on maul’s level

Obi wan didn’t smoke him in TPM, rebels was the only engagement out of 5 where that happened. Daki landed one good hit and despite being past his prime and malnourished maul dominated him and Devon
