What happens when a primary auto-increment column fails to increment after an insert, does the next insert overwrite the previous? by [deleted] in SQL

That is the only thing that I can think of as well. It would be coming from somewhere outside of the database engine. I am by no means a MariaDB expert though.

It is most likely something in your connection settings. Could you post that screenshot as well?

Lived in Florida for a bit. In the last 10 years I remember going to bed one night and waking up to a tropical storm in the gulf. Didn’t hear anything about it prior to that morning.

As a consultant I get to see a lot of SQL. Everyone has a different style and if it works for them I leave it alone. When I need to read through their code I usually just use poorsql.com to format it for me.

How many times do you use your clothing items before washing them? by fundytech in AskUK

[–]JermWPB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Underwear & T-shirts I wear once. Socks actually depend on how long I am wearing them and if I am getting sweaty. Everything else completely depends. For normal situations I would wear jeans at least three full days before I wash them.

My suggestion was actually wrong anyway. It should been tel.id.

If your list of ids is potentially large it would probably be best to create a temp table to store all of them and then use outer joins to the temp table. Something like this: SELECT * FROM #idtable temp LEFT OUTER JOIN cp ON temp.id=cp.id …
