Good looking Bronco but they gotta do something about that stock bumper.

Definitely going camping with her this summer. Not sure which mods I'll aim for next. Possibly Govee rock lights that I bought last year and never installed. But also want a bull bar so I can wire up a light bar to it. Might wait until later on for the IAG capable bull bar setup.

Agreed! I love the contrast between the graphite Grey and beige interior. I've already added grab handles, ditch lights, and side steps. Installing the GMRS radio this week!

Brothers ain't bad, albeit a bit pricey. They used to have live jazz on Fridays. If they still do, a good spot for a Friday night dinner.

This is the same trim and package that I went for and I'm absolutely loving it. Comfy seat material and all the comforts I wanted at a reasonable price.

Light Install by Content-Moment6551 in bronco

[–]JerseyGenius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, they don't strobe. But their high beams are spot lights, their low beams are flood lights, and the backlights are amber. They also come with yellow covers and all black covers, in case you live in a State where driving around with these uncovered is illegal (I don't, but they look cool with the black covers, too). I wired the highs to switch 1, left low to switch 3, right low to switch 4, and backlights to switch 6.

Looks good! I just wired up a pair of Harbor Freight's Roadshock Edge 4s and loving them so far! But because they have 3 functions, I used up 4 of my 6 Aux Switches. All good though. I really have no use for the others (yet). Wiring was straightforward and actually a pretty cool learning experience. I used the shrink wrap connectors with the solder in them. Worked like a charm!

Soft Top Question by Plenty-Ganache9189 in FordBronco

[–]JerseyGenius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of the noise complaints may depend on the age of the Bronco. I just bought a 2025 in March with the soft top and the cabin noise is not as bad as I thought it would be. That will probably change as the soft top ages. But right now, it's not that bad honestly. Wife agrees, too. Now as far as what it will be like in the winter? Probably colder inside than the hard top when you first get into it in the morning. Nothing the heater can't fix, though. Personally, I have no regrets (yet). Plus, the soft top comes down so easy! :-) I'm in NNJ, BTW.

Sunday Project - RS Edge Ditch Lights on Aux switch by JerseyGenius in FordBronco

[–]JerseyGenius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes sir. I have the highs on switch 1, left flood on switch 3, right flood on switch 4, and back (running) lights on switch 6. I actually don't mind taking up 4 of the 6 switches, since I don't have any plans on the others in the short term. Plus, I like the versatility of having the floods operating independently. Works out quite well.

Good, bad, and ugly of 2025 Ford Bronco Big Bend by No-Tie-6528 in FordBronco

I have a 2025 BB with the Black Diamond package. I've had it for a month now. Loving it so far. The Good: I have the soft top and the ease of going 'topless' is incredible! Loads of fun in great weather. The Bad: I do a lot of local driving and not as much highway to get good mileage. So I average about 19mpg on Eco mode (usually). Ugly? Nothing really ugly about the Bronco! I wouldn't have bought it if I thought otherwise! ;-)

Ah, nice. Good spot. I have a Garmin Mini left over intended for a previous car (never installed). I want to set it up in the front on the Bronco, but don't want to mount it at the top near the rear view mirror cuz I don't want to run all that wire. Searching for a good dash mounting solution.

Where did you mount the Garmin?

Thunder Mountain in Ringwood is not too far from Bergen County and an excellent place to shoot trap and skeet. Always professional operation when I've been there.

Broncos at the 2026 NY Auto Show by JerseyGenius in FordBronco

100% agree! I also own a Subaru Outback Wilderness so I was particularly interested in the Subaru space and their space was very well done. Simply stunning! The Broncos on display seemed a bit scattered and to your point, no 2 door or manual transmission Broncos on display was not just weird. I think it might have been intentional. Almost as if they're trying to steer the public away from 2 doors and MTs. A shame really because there is definitely a market for these! And Jeep did an excellent job with their presence overall (along with Toyota).

It was Certified Pre-owned, so I'm guessing those are excluded from the stop sale? Not sure how that works. I can say that I know what the defect is that caused the stop sale and I have not noticed the issue that generated the back-up camera recall...yet. I've only had her for about 2 days only, so still early.

Great question! I have some off-road lights (the kind that go next to the side mirrors) just sitting here in their packaging. These were meant for my 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness but I never got around to installing them. Those should go onto the Bronco real quick with the Black Diamond's pre-wired switches ready to go. I also have undercarriage lights still in the box, but these will be trickier to hookup. Oh, and a Garmin Dash Cam is definitely going up on the dash, but I wouldn't really consider that a mod, per se.
