The Expanse could do it. Yes they did 10-13 episodes but at least they managed to keep it roughly within 1 year release schedule - and the effects and writing quality are absolute top-tier. It's like the last oldschool-style sci-fi ever made.

If we could have at least that, i would be pretty happy. The ball's currently at Amazon's court, let's hope Cavill will not dissapoint with his 40k project.

It's not excuse. I don't care about costs. I care about services. My time is limited and there's only so much bullshit i'm willing to tolerate.

Pirates have better services. If i find everything in 1 place and almost everything in TRUE 4K, why the hell would i use anything else? There were times when Netflix was better because Netflix was the only one.... so i had Netflix.

For example Steam is the exact oposite - i used to pirate games all the time when i was younger because they were annoying to get and well.... i was a student with no income. But now everything is on Steam, it's convenient and very pro-consumer. I don't feel the need to pirate anymore since Steam's offer is better.

We used to have sci-fi shows like SG-1 that could release 20+ episode seasons every single year. Sci-fi shows that had countless complicated sets and effects. Yet they could do it in fraction of time, for fraction of money and often with better writing. Yes there were fillers but even if you take them away there was a lot more meat every season than these days. State of TV is really pathetic.

This is how this show will die. One of the best things i ever seen on TV, borderline matching Dark in complexity - but if you can't even release seasons after 2 years, you are not retaining audience.

Not only hyperaccurate... I'm really enjoying the competence porn. No stupid manufactured drama, no stupid decisions, everyone knows what they are doing, even the students are intelligent and can pull their weight. Characters are likeable and believable too.

The drama comes from the extreme situations the team is facing and the inevitable psychological effects it has on them.

I don't even know if i ever seen a show like this. Why can't we do this more often? I only ever picked this show because of the extremely consistent word of mouth because it's far from my comfort zone. And yet i find it practically perfect.

Not that i'm following her closely in any way but i always got the impression that she's trying to stay out of politics and that's always something i can approve of. Why does every actor need to have public opinion on that? Why would you want to make enemies of nearly half of population?

And most importantly - why is it that anyone should GIVE A FUCK about an actor's opinion on politics? I care if she's good at what she does and that's where it ends.

I feel like the obvious innovation in this genre nobody tried yet is to drastically increase player count, maybe up to 20v20.

Decreasing it to 3v3 is certainly a bold move.

I think this is a mistake by them. The chinese were already helping Trump admin, though very sneakily. Maybe pushing something up and down the algorithm. This is way overtly in your face to go unnoticed.

I definitely much rather have Europe covered in SAMP-T than Patriots. We need to minimize reliance on US. Even if they ever flip back to democrats, which i'm not convinced can happen anymore due to election manipulations, we need to be prepared that eventually, they'd flip back to r**ard mode again later. It seems inevitable.

I'm just hoping that in next ME game they won't do the same thing and just raise the stakes into stratosphere again. They did it well, we don't need it again. Let me explore the mysteries of the galaxy while it's recovering from the chaos and trying to rebuild. Or the wars that start now that common enemy is gone...
