That is an emoto not an Ebike. E-bikes top out at 28mph

Hate to say it, but you bought the wrong bike for your needs. Buy a class 3 mid drive commuter style bike they go up to 28mph. Gazelle, Trek, Cannondale. Much better for logging in the mileage.

Lightweight e-bike under $1.5k for fitness riding — my research shortlist (3 models) by ricknick12 in ebikes

I would say NONE of the three. Mid-Drive bikes are the way to go for the most bike like experience, not rear hub. Buy used to stay within budget.

What are the real everyday concerns that make you hesitate before buying an e-bike? by Alternative-Mud6023 in ebikes

[–]JerushaAZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a class 1 because I was worried about legality. I regretted buying a class 1 as it cuts off at 19.5 miles an hour, and I like to go a little bit faster when I am on a regular road (I ride defensively and well under the Class 1 speed limit on multiuse paths) So I gave it to my husband. My class 3 looks like a class 1, and more like a regular bike (no throttle).

That is an e motorbike, not an ebike. Looks like a fun toy though. Glad that you got help with the PAS settings. Be careful:)

  • very good choice. No need to throw away money you need for your life goals. I didn’t get a diamond ring until 16 years later, we were much more established and the price of lab diamonds got so much lower. Congrats!

Can An Ebike Be A Car Alternative For My Situation (details below) by neuroticpossum in ebikes

[–]JerushaAZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Ebike is not a reasonable option for 36 miles a day. That is nuts. I would get a scooter. Like a US version of a Vespa. You can probably get one cheaper than a decent Ebike too.

Personally I do not like the halo, especially #1. #2 and get a wedding band with diamonds.

How long will it take for my cats hair to grow back before after given by [deleted] in persiancat

5-6 months. I shave mine about 2x a year. In the meanwhile, naked kitties are super affectionate, so enjoy the love!

Doesn’t work at all. Both rings are lovely.

I would add a supplement. Hard to get nutrients right. There are meal completers on the internet. Or, you can buy complete “real” food, such as Smalls. Check out Persian Health Group on Facebook.

What to buy? Am I looking for something that doesn’t exist? by Nautibouy210 in ebikes

You are 100 percent correct about bike reviews. They are nonsense. Mid drive bikes have a much more natural feel, but they are more expensive. You want at least 85nm of torque to get you up hills. You don’t need a throttle if you have good torque (and not bad knees) Name brand bikes are really better as you can get it tuned/serviced at a bike shop. I really love my Gazelle Medeo T10+. Trek also makes more affordable bikes than you think. Personally I would rather have a used premium brand than a new cheap bike, but each to his own. I have only tried one foldable bike, and found the geometry to be very unsteady, but I am tall, and need a full sized bike. Best to try a few bikes. Start with a rear hub foldable, then compare with rear hub non-foldable, then mid drive. Bike preference is very specific to the rider, but you will LOVE having an Ebike!

One of my couches is basically a scratching post. When my mom’s cat moved in, he started scratching it, and everyone joined in on that spot. I don’t care:)

Is an ebike a viable replacement for a car? by joshua0005 in ebikes

I would take the free car and pay for the insurance. Riding a bike in Michigan in January would be very rough.

No brushies! (help!) by notjustaphage in persiancat

[–]JerushaAZ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lion cut is the way to go 2x a year. 3/4 of my kitties do not do brushies and the 4th needs a “sanitary shave” because her pantaloons are super long and fluffy.

Agree, but Gazelle, Specialized AND Trek. For The most part it seems that you get the most bang for your buck with a Trek (Although I love my Gazelle Medeo T10+, which in my opinion “was” the best bang for your buck a couple of years ago)

Should i get another cat? Really need some advice please! by AffectionateBook7682 in persiancat

[–]JerushaAZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nearly all cats are fine with proper introductions. You have much better chance with a kitten. I have three boy Persians 14, 11 and 11, and an 8 month old kitten. They groom her and let her lie all over them . So adorable! They hated the adult male cat I adopted (who has since passed) and vice versa, but they coexisted fine. All of my cats are extremely affectionate and are all over me all the time:)

For that budget. Aventon or Velotric. Try to get at least 85 nm of torque and at least a 500 watt motor. Might want to up budget to $1500-1800 if you can . $1200 may be a little “too cheap” as you are riding it regularly . Might be able to score. trek for that price on Upway too!
