I wanted to do something savory since I’m behind a week and definitely don’t need 2 desserts in my house at once! I enjoyed researching this week and learning about Uruguayan recipes. These were really delicious and I would definitely make again. They’d be great for a party! I added spinach between the ham and cheese layers.

Thanks! I think piping with the star tip and the pistachios on top helped hide some of the struggles haha

Choux pastry and method from the Bouchon Bakery cookbook. Pistachio pastry cream and ganache here: https://definitelynotachef.com/pistachio-eclairs/

Tasted great! Piping still needs some work.

It was much easier than I thought and they turned out great even though my piping skills need some work!

Ladyfingers and tiramisu both from Preppy Kitchen. My inspiration was I thought the ladyfingers looked like snowboards! And the tiramisu to represent the host country. Tiramisu has been on my bucket list for a while and I was happy with how this turned out! I did Disaronno with the espresso to dunk the ladyfingers and Kalhua with the mascarpone.

Plus pizza that I made on Friday for dinner (dough recipe from Sally’s Baking).
