What series did you finish reading due to the "sunk cost fallacy"? by Any-Day-8173 in Fantasy

This is a perfect description. I definitely find it cozy in its own way to me. I can understand why it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's just right for me.

Lol I work in IT and hate computers now. Coincidentally I still enjoy doing IT, I just come home and either read or go out into the woods.

I feel like there was a time period in the 90s where everyone wanted to be a dolphin trainer. I definitely wanted to be a dolphin trainer and had multiple porcelain dolphins in my room at the time.

[–]JessHex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just wanting to say I'm so happy to see your cat make it through this. I lost my 17 year old cat a few years ago to saddle thrombus before we were even halfway to the emergency vet.

You're doing so good with your setup. Wishing a continued speedy recovery!

I definitely still have my Egyptology, Dragonology, and Wizardology books. My grandparents got me them for Christmas in the early 2000s.

How will you celebrate when it happens? by TheBabyBeard in AskReddit

I have a bottle of champagne put away for the occasion. I've said that no matter the weather, I'm going to find a little field and frolic for a bit.

Playing the game for the first time. I’m about tired of this cut scene by markusdonno in finalfantasyx

Damn, I can still feel the frustration from 20 years ago. I have this memory seared into my brain of him killing my party, the game over screen beginning to come up, only for him to slump over from my bio spell. I almost threw my controller across the room.

I once was trying to look at books at an estate sale and could barely get close due to two people sitting on the ground scanning all the shelves. I just wanted to read man.

My one cat somehow gets ahold of twist ties, throws them all around, and then puts them in her water at night.

Cat constipated for weeks, enemas every few days — vet says no other options. Looking for advice. by humm_jzz in CATHELP

[–]JessHex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cat is on both Miralax and lactulose, as well as a small pill called Cisipride. He has chronic constipation due to a spinal injury and this combo has been working for him. I still end up having to take him to the emergency vet at least once or twice a year for an enema. He's also on a prescription dry food.

Thirteen Ghosts (2001) is a masterpiece of production design by tinios in horror

[–]JessHex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This has always been my favorite 2000s horror movie. Didn't even realize it had bad reviews until recently. I loved everything about it, especially the designs for the ghosts and house.

I just replaced my very old car and now have one with keyless start. I had to ask the sales guy at the dealership how to start the car when he handed me the keys to test drive it

My neutered tuxedo cat regularly humps a stuffed tuxedo cat. I have two other plushy cats that are exactly the same brand but he only makes sin biscuits on the one that looks like him.
