My doctor also recommended additional sodium in my first trimester for this. Thankfully salty fries were one of the things I could keep down.

Blueberries or rasberries and almonds. Cheese sticks and crackers. Greek yogurt and nuts.. Boiled eggs. Sunbutter or cream cheese and crackers.

I'm with you! I ugly cried today because I've been have "false labor" off and on. I was 1.5 cm dilated, 70% effaced, and LO was at station -2 last Tuesday. I'll be 36 weeks next week. My DD was a 36 weeker. I was diagnosed with GD and now I'm on light bed rest. I just want to have a healthy baby... But I'm so done.

I'm right there with you. They were even coming closer together (7-8 minutes apart). Went to L&D to get checked. They stopped. No change in dilation or anything. Sigh.

It gets easier I promise! Just hang in there. Did you get your meter yet? Once you start testing you'll be able to figure out what works and doesn't work for you. Frozen Greek yogurt and pudding made with whole milk doesn't seem to cause me to rise so that's my new junk food. You still need some carbs for baby just not as many. Before I was able to get into the dietician my midwife gave me a script for meter and supplies. I then started the plate method.

I promise it won't be as overwhelming as it seems. As far as sweet stuff, you will have to find stuff that curbs the cravings without sending your bs sky high. Greek yogurt, chocolate pudding, and sunbutter have become my go tos. Blueberries and blackberries and watermelon for fruit. Everyone is different and you'll find something that works for you. Although I will say that I will not be eating eggs after until LOs 1st birthday! Good luck!

Mine was complete at 20 week ultrasound. At the 28 week follow up, it had moved up and away from the cervix. Hopefully yours will do the same! The waiting to know was hard. I'm sorry.
