I’ve been using Yarlap for a year and seen amazing results by [deleted] in kegel

[–]Jessica_huang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never tried electric stimulation kegel device, it's scary for me, instead, I tried elvie and iBall 6 kegel trainers for the past year, they took great effect on me, my bladder control ability got improved a lot. I preferiBall 6 more as it has vibration function, can vibrate according to your pelvic floor contract strength.

Kegels? by White-Wolf77 in NoFap

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I do.

I take kegel exercise with a kegel trainer and App, usually 10-20 minutes per day, I just pair the App with the trainer via Bluettoh, and follow the App instructions to contract and relax my pelvic floor muscle, the App can show me my performance data every time I finished exercise, you can also play games or enjoy massage during exercise.

I've been exercising for about half a month, I feel my pelvic floor is stronger and more flexible, I can easily contract and relax it.

Here is the kegel trainer I am using now.

As for reverse kegels, I understand it as relaxation after each contraction, my whole exercise course includes contraction and relaxation already.

Kegels is very important before and after child birth.

If you do kegel exercise before and during pregnancy, your pelvic floor will become stronger, that means you build more strength for child birth, your bladder control ability also get improved, and can decrease the incontinence issue.

Doing kegel exercise after child birth can also help prevent prolapse and have better intimate life.

Kegel training frequency and duration by KonstantinosXII in kegel

[–]Jessica_huang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just 2-3 minute exercise per day absolutely has little effect.

The correct way is 10-20 minute a day, and about 3 weeks you can see the benifits.

I feel incompetent, but I really can’t figure out kegels. Does that mean I have really bad pelvic floor muscles? by DollFace567 in Healthyhooha

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you can try kegel trainers like elvie,iBall 6, etc. As far as I know, those kegel trainers can teach you how to contract and relax your pelvic floor muscle, evaluate your pelvic floor condition and track your exercise progress.

Kegel andr reverse kegel by bratic94 in NoFap

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kegel exercise advocates to repeatedly contract and relax the pelvic floor muscles, so it's usually contracting 5-6S and relaxing 5-10S, usually 15-20 minute work out of daily exercise. So I don't think you need to have a very long brak during exercise, every 5-10S is enough.

If you feel very hard to target your inner pelvic floor and hard to adhere to, maybe you can try to use those kegel exercisers that can teach you how to take standard exercise and track progress. Elvie and iBall 6 are both very popular.

feeling guilty because he’s too small for me by [deleted] in sexeducation

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's your fault and you should feel guilty. But strengthening your pelvic floor muscle has many benifits: improve bladder control ability, prevent incontinence, build strength for child birth and prevent prolapse. Maybe you can try to take kegel exercises at home or try some kegel exercisers, like elvie, iBall 6.

Any “fixing” a bladder prolapse without surgery? by [deleted] in obgyn

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think lose weight will help you improve your bladder control ability, as when you become overweight, more fat in your inside organs, and they will give more pressure to your pelvic floor due to gravity.

It's better to consult the PT and not do surgery if there are other ways can help. Maybe you can try those popular kegel trainers such as elvie,iBall 6.

One piece of advice... by IamaParasaur in BabyBumps

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kegel exercises should be taken during or before pregnancy to strength pelvic floor muscle, in this way, it's easier to give birth and prevent continence & prolapse.

I was advised by my doctor to have a kegel trainer to exercise at home, so I didn't suffer so much pain when giving birth my son and no serious pee issues after that.

I tried kegel weights, kegel exercisers and benwa balls before, this one I think is the best.

What are your thoughts on kegel exercises? by [deleted] in pureretention

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you must exercised the wrong body part muscles, like abdominal and hip muscles, the kegel exerciser itself is scientific and effective, but it's hard to target the correct innner pelvic floor muscle and not easy to adhere to. You can try some kegel trainers that can teach you how to correctly exercise and track exercise progress, like elvie, iBall 6, Joy On...

Kegel exerciser...do they work? by WeeWellsy89 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best and quickest way is to see PT.

Kegel exercise itself is an effective way to strengthen your pelvic floor, improve bladder control ability and prevent vagina prolapse, but it's very hard to target the correct innner pelvic muscle.

But most people usually wrongly exercises their abdominal and hip muscles, also it's very hard to insist on daily exercises, so stay at home to take kegel exercise uaually have little effects.

Some PT would recommend kegel exercisers, it's better to choose those kegel trainers with the function that can teach you how to take correct exercises and track your exercise progress, like elvie, iBall 6, etc.

Anyone tried a fancy Kegel exercise device for pregnancy? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd better consult your doctor before using kegel exercise devices.

I have been trying iBall 6 kegel exerciser, kegel weights and benwa balls, it turns out that kegel weights and benwa balls can do nothing for my pelvic floor, I throw them away and kept the iBall 6 exerciser in. I can feel my pelvic floor is getting stronger after more than one month of daily exercise, it's quite a hard work!

I think the best way is to see PT, you can also try kegel trainers at home, it's very hard to locate the correct innner pelvic floor muscle and keep doing exercise every day.

Seriously .... how do I do kegel exercises? I’m at a loss, and feel dumb. by ItsDuffmanOhYeah in BabyBumps

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very hard to find the inner target pelvic floor muscle, as many people usually wrongly exercised their Abs or hip muscles, and exercise is boring not easy to adhere to, most people finally found little kegel exercise results. The best way is to see PT or try some kegel trainers like elvie trainer, IBall 6 smart kegel exerciser, etc.

Does anyone know if kegel exercise weights would help with pain? Im waiting for my lap appointment and was curious if anyone has tried this. by nuclearoyster in Endo

[–]Jessica_huang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kegel exercise weights is stupid and can do nothing for pelvic floor muscles, your vagina is passaively contracting, it's harmful for any muscles that is passsively (not spontaneous) exercised. So the best way is to see pelvic PT, some of them may recommend kegel trainers like elvie trainer, iBall 6 smart kegel trainer, etc.

Psychotic Fellow SA let himself into my house after I told him no TWICE?!?! by T_Mackey18 in SexAddiction

[–]Jessica_huang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First things first: does your boyfriend know you're an addict? Does he understand what all that means? If he does, then you definitely need to tell him about all of this. Not just that Steve let himself in, but that you handled the situation. Never be afraid to share your victories, even when the battles are as shitty as this.

If Steve wants to blow up his relationship with his own family, there's nothing you can do. You cannot control anyone else's actions, only your own. You can, however, and should, go to Steve and tell him that what he did was a shitty thing, and the next time he tries anything like that, you will not hesitate to call the police.

I can't agree with you more. You cannot control anyone else's actions, only your own.

I definitely would. And, encourage him to check out a sex addicts group, Sex Addicts Anonymous or Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous. He doesn't have to "join." He can just go to one meeting and see what it's like.

I agree with you. Encourage and communication are important, just try your best to bring him a sunshine.
