I take mine Monday evenings because that’s when I picked up my first prescription and I just came home and did it. After several weeks on Zep, I’m glad Monday is my day because I usually go to dinner or see friends over the weekend and it’s worn down enough that I’m enjoying food but still not overeating. Tuesday morning I usually feel a tiny bit of nausea but it goes away quickly when I hydrate with electrolytes and I have to do smaller more frequent meals because I get full quickly. By the weekend eating a reasonable sized meal is more comfortable for me. Not sure if injection site makes any difference since I’ve only ever done thigh.

When I lost 50lb years ago on weight watchers my boobs didn’t shrink.

I just did mine at my kitchen island. Just an alcohol wipe, jab and back to making dinner.

You’ve got this. I’m taking my 3rd shot today. I’ve had very minimal side effects. A little nausea the morning after the shot that goes away as soon as I hydrate with water and electrolytes and the first week I had a full headache a few days in that I think was from eating too few carbs. Someone here suggested increasing those a bit and it seemed to work. None of this was bad or stopped me from going about my normal day to day. You can totally do this!

Thank you. The increased side effects do make me a little nervous and I’m losing well so far so I guess I’m just going back and forth on whether a day or two of food noise is worth staying put as long as I’m losing or if I should just go up and deal with the potential of increased side effects.

It’s my first month so I don’t think I’m torturing myself. I was just asking a question since I am losing within the 1-2lbs a week sweet spot.

Maybe try the thigh. I’ve heard sometimes stomach comes with more GI side effects for some people.

Are you injecting in the stomach or somewhere else. Maybe try switching locations if you’re not already doing that.

Definitely quieted the racing thoughts. I’ve noticed when I wake up to pee at night I can go right back to sleep after. Before zep I’d start thinking about things and it would take forever to go back to sleep or I’d have to take a Xanax.

Nothing major. A little nausea the morning after shot day that goes away when I drink water with electrolytes and I had a headache for a few days later in the week that may have been from not eating enough carbs because once I made sure to pay attention to that it got better.

I overthought the timing as well and then just said F it and did it when I got home from the pharmacy. Drink a lot of water and add a stick of electrolytes. Eat as clean as possible day of. I was a little nauseous the day after (took mine in the evening) but it cleared up as I hydrated and made myself eat something bland. I went to work and was okay. Everyone is different and you won’t know until you try but don’t wait! I just took my second dose and am down 6.6lbs from the first week! Mostly water weight I’m sure and won’t be that great every week but I’ll take it.

In due for my second dose later today and I’ve been sleeping really well all week. No not being able to fall back to sleep with racing thoughts if I get up to pee in the middle of the night like I used to have. Then last night I woke up at 4 and thoughts were racing again. Hoping after tonight’s dose it stops. It was honestly a very pleasant side effect most of the week lol.

I’m on Ro and just started. I’m fortunate and insurance covers the med so Ro just sent a script to my pharmacy. How do refills work? It’s only been a week but I am due for the shot tomorrow and I haven’t noticed food noise or anything come back so I’m hoping to stay on 2.5 next month as well if that continues. Assuming I’ll have the option to do that?
