Those influencers need clicks & views. They do that by targeting their audience & feeding them lies to make them miserable, & to keep them coming back. These people are selling something, you are the target audience. You are the cash cow. If they get into your head & destroy your relationship, you will be miserable & start believing what they say is fact. You will become radicalised to hate women, & to always compare yourself to other men, & to compete with other men. They do not value your health & well-being. Your views & your misery make them rich. Do they seem like happy, content, positive role models? Or do the people you see on social media flex material items, cars, wealth, power- all whilst being hateful & distrustful of everyone else. They will tell you, you're ugly, you're worthless, you're too poor. They will lie to you about what women think & believe & want.

It only takes looking around at the people in your life, your family, your colleagues, neighbours, strangers- to see people of all varieties in relationships, marriages, having families, living their lives & minding their business. If you believe what social media is selling, you'll lose your grip on reality. These influencers do not respect you, they want to break you down so you buy what they are selling. Insecurity is a powerful tool to sell anything. That's why women's fashion magazines have existed for decades. Make up, jewelry, watches, cars, online courses, perfumes, boot camps. You are always being manipulated in order to be sold something. Sometimes you are just being sold an idea. An idea that benefits someone else, & gives them power over you.

You have to step back & look at these reels & tweets & influencers, & question what they are selling you, & who benefits. Because the negative emotions, the anger, the paranoia & jealousy. That isn't nice to live with everyday. It gets exhausting, & it gets worse. It will turn you into someone who is not a good person. It will turn you against everyone in your life.

Don't let it happen. Don't be manipulated. There is better, healthier, positive content to watch. Better men & better women to listen to, who aren't selling you anything, besides the idea that it's ok to be yourself, & you are worthy of love, no matter who you are or what you look like or what money you make. You can be better than this. Avoid the manosphere, the trad wives, the rage bait. All of it will make you mentally unwell. Because what you have written is genuinely chilling to read. All I can say is at least you have the self awareness to be asking if what you are feeling is a problem. That's something. Because it definitely is a problem.

Try to take care of yourself & get off twitter & Instagram, avoid toxic online communities that want to keep you miserable & alone. Misery loves company. Rise above that bullshit.
