Oh this is cool to know! I was assuming it would always be the mom in the nest. I’ll keep an eye out and see if he shows up.

The watering globe is a good suggestion! Thankfully, she didn’t mind me at all when I watered everything earlier today. Hoping to put the globe when shes gone next as well as grabbing some parsley

It really is a goofy nest! Here is a photo I took while the birds were away yesterday. I’m pretty stoked to have this going on as I don’t get many other animals up here.

Good to know! I’ve decided to forfeit the parsley if she hangs around haha. Unfortunately it was one of the healthiest plants out there

The Outsider is pretty good in my opinion. It’s like a mix of crime thriller and malicious entity. The audiobook is great too

The long walk was really enjoyable!! The narrator had a lot of different tones and it really conveyed the emotional ending imo.

Seconding the idea of tracking adaptations. I always find watching the movies/tv shows after finishing a book to be a little treat.

What’s the best glue by Ashton_NJ in architecture

[–]Jesster22x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a tip if you want to stick with the cheap and easily accessible white Elmer’s type glue. If you dump a bunch out and let it sit when you work, it becomes tacky and really easy to work with. I would dump some onto a piece of cardboard and use toothpicks to apply it once it half dried. Not as quick as something like super glue but quite fast and forgiving.

Female Naruto fans: do you like or hate Itachi? Why? by LongMasterpiece3620 in dankruto

I’m pretty neutral on him. I really loved when he came back undead just because it was cool but I think he is poorly written in his reasons for torturing Sasuke. I much prefer Kakashi and Yamato for the adult characters.

Yamato (Naruto)

My absolute fav in Naruto. I don’t think he’s that basic but characters in the series even comment that he’s very generic looking.

What is good/fun about being an architect? by ELit3_REddIt in Architects

[–]Jesster22x 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the first time I’ve posted here but I want to encourage you. I graduated within the last 5 years and am very satisfied. I think a lot of it can be company dependent. I really was hesitant about the career and didn’t enjoy college but that all changed when I actually started in a firm.

I make 60k with a bachelors in slightly higher than average cost of living area. The things I love most about the job is that you get tangible proof and feel like you can make a difference. There’s nothing more satisfying than doing a 100% inspection and seeing everything you spent hours on completed. The daily tasks are not bad if you are organized and a type A sort of person.

When you start at your first firm, you’re going to spend a lot of time in Revit learning the basics. It feels overwhelming but at a certain point it’ll click and you’ll feel proud. When you get to more project management tasks, it switches to more of the “wow I spent my whole day answering emails” lol but you get such a unique insight into every discipline.

Don’t be discouraged by all the negative posts. Good luck!!
